Thought the concert was amazing- musicians played their hearts out to honor The legacy of the Brothers.
This was part of a note I sent to friend who I went to the show with: I was smiling the whole time! Bassist Tal Wilkenfeld is special. Her groove last night just blew me away. She damn near stole the show. She was discovered by Jeff Beck and toured with him for years. Jimmy Hall who was terrific recorded a whole album with Jeff in the 80’s. Her on bass and Vinnie Colaiuta from Zappa on drums was Jeff Becks best rhythm section. The talent on stage was incredible. The Miracle here was the vast friendships curated by Duane and Devon that combined into a waterfall of musical love that forged a 3 hour bond with the audience that elevated us all to a place we won't forget
It was so nice to revisit a good amount of classic Allman Brothers Band music. Lots of jamming and solos. The multitude of guest players kept it interesting. Sound was OK, but got louder and louder as the show progressed. The sound became overwhelming at times and detracted from the music.
This show was great in several ways. An excellent lineup with revolving guests throughout--Jimmy Hall, Anders Osborne, Larry McCray, Luther Dickenson, Jacky Greene, Sierra Hull, Ally Venable, Greg Koch--and Tal Wilkenfeld (Jeff Beck) is amazing as the band's bassist. The sound quality and visual backdrop were terrific. A great set list (hard to think what they didn't play). 3 solid hours of jammin'. Already looking forward to next time.
Great show at a great venue!!! Devon and Duane are keeping the music of their fathers alive!! Great supporting cast including the ultra talented bassist, Tal Wilkenfeld!!!! If you get the chance, go see this awesome tribute to the Allman Brothers Band!!
Always a terrific line up for this event. And line up changes all the time keeping it fresh. Duann Betts is AWESOME, so talented. Had the pleasure of seeing him recently w/ Palmetto Motel and they were great then also!
The Allman Betts Family Revival Concert December 1st - Orpheum Theatre - Boston was the best concert we have seen in a long time. All the musicians were excellent. EVERYONE did a fantastic job. If anyone gets a chance to see this band GO!!

Set list was like a best of! Whipping Post, Lizzy Reed and Dreams the epitomy of ABB. Tal Wilkenfeld was awesome
This show was amazing. I think a new guest (or more than one) came on stage for every song and it was always better than the last. So good. Highly recommend for any Allman Brothers fan or any guitar music fan period.

Great, great show. Real music by real musicians. Understated lighting and visuals which complemented the music. Highly recommend this annual show !
Amazingly talented musicians playing all the best Allman Brothers tunes. We danced and sang all night!
An absolutely perfect show. 2 ½ hours, set list was awesome and the talent that Devon and Duane assembled was just fantastic! (Next time please close with Midnight Rider).

Since I attended this event last year, it has become a must see for me. The love and respect Devon and Duane display for their dads is evident in all phases of the show. If you love the Allman Brothers Band, you really need to see this show.

This is the second year seeing the Revival...was in Torrington, CT Last year and that was fun! This show was better--tighter and a blast. Sound off a bit from side I was sitting at the Orpheum..Row E Orchestra. Tal..gary Koch--Sierra and Mattie were alo great additions and Jimmy Hall killed it on Whipping Post! We are planning on attending next year if they come back to Boston!
Excellent musicians (and a lot of them). Pleasure to hear Allman/Betts music by musicians to whom these songs are special
