Ali Awan Tickets

Ali Awan was born to an immigrant father and first-generation mother just outside of Philadelphia spending most of his early life in transit. That upbringing coupled with a love for sound and expression made a life in music second nature. To date, he has shared stages with the likes of Natalie Prass, Low Cut Connie, Cherry Glazerr, St. Paul and the Broken Bones, Ex Hex, Vacationer, The Districts and many more. Awan�s new EP �Moon Mode� is a six-song summation of his emotional state over the past 12 months, and ranges from reverb-drenched swamp songs to dreamy synth meditations. The EP�s title track, inspired by Nina Simone�s �Sinnerman� will be available on April 9th, 2021. The entire EP will be available on June 11th, 2021 via Born Losers Records.

�Moon Mode� is a collection of songs I felt were varied in style but cohesive in emotion. It goes from dark to light as a whole with the tracklisting, some songs are dry, some songs are drenched in reverb, and I�m glad I got to work with a few other musicians on this batch. Collaboration is helping me hear things differently, and that�s what I�ve been trying to do in my day to day life as well.�
