ALEX SENSATION IN CONCERT:
Superstar DJ and New York radio personality Alex Sensation is one of Caribbean music's biggest champions, bringing his signature blend of bachata, merengue, and electronica to clubs around the world. Whether he's laying it down at a community festival or raising the roof at a sports arena, fans lucky enough to catch Alex on tour in 2014 can expect a rhythm-filled night of dancing to cutting-edge Latin dance music. Returning to Madison Square Garden in 2014 for his annual La Mega Mezcla Live showcase, Alex will be joined by some of Latin music's hottest acts including Wisin, Plan B, and Sean Paul.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Columbian-born Alex Sensation immigrated to the US at a young age, getting his start as a DJ in his teens and landing a job at New York City's legendary Copacabana Club by age 17. Attracting the attention of radio impresario Tony Luna, Alex began mixing on the air, landing a gig as the main DJ of La Mega 97.9 FM's popular "La Mega Mezcla del Mediodia" program. Honing a unique mix of Caribbean-influenced sounds, Alex became one of the Northeast's hottest Latin club DJs. Six years later, he remains La Mega 97.9's most popular DJ, continuing to bring together the brightest talent in Latin music at the annual La Mega Mezcla Live featuring Alex Sensation and Friends concert.

We had a blast on that concert! Most of the artist were my favorites and they sing pretty good. The only thing I didn't like much was that concert starting time was changed at last minute and instead of 8pm started an hour earlier. Other than that, no complaints; I dance 95% of the time the concert lasted. Thanks, Alex, for your bright idea!!!!!!
I was disappointed because they announced Alexis Y Fido and they didn't show up. Then after Alex Sensation the sonido was super bad I don't know what happen but every thing went down the hill when Ivy and Vico. I've was very encojonada and the sonido was trash. Then when Vico was singing with his daughter we can't hear her at all. That is the reason I am giving 2 š my favorite show was Darrell and Maldy.
This event had a lot of potential and it still had its pros. I enjoyed the artists that I saw but not all of the artists advertised performed. I was looking forward to seeing Alexis y Fido and they were a no show. There were also other artist that were advertised that did not show up.
Alex sensation said that right after his presentation Cosculluela, Vico C and Ivy Queen were next.. Ivy queen show was boring and long, vivo c had all this dancers and after wasting an hour of my life Cosculluela never came out.
I traveled from NYC to Orlando, Florida, mainly to see Alexis y Fido perform. I was extremely disappointed they were not able to perform, along with Cusco, who I was also looking forward to seeing because they ran out of time and we needed to leave the venue. This was also the first time I purchased floor seats, again, mainly to see Alexis Y Fido. I was also looking forward to Maldyās performance, only to be disappointed by the woman back up voice. It took away from the songs, in my opinion. Better time management is needed. If the concert would have started at 7pm, as stated, all artist would have had time to perform.
I have to say this was the best concert ever. Old school reggaeton every one was on point. Alex sensation never disappoints me with his mixes. I would definitely attend another event. 10/10

The concert said itās was to start at 7 but it was almost 8pm when itās started .Alex sensation was good so many artists were on stage , that was awesome. It was 12am and Vico C was still ok stage and his performance was not good and he took longer than expected and 2 more artists were left not performing. Kinda disappointed that they were not able to perform.
A couple of the artists that were supposed to show up did not even come to the event. Guess were not even made aware of the changes at the last minute. A complete false advertisement!
The show was much better than I expected, lot of artists and tons of songs,I loved it!!
How can you promote a concert with an list that is not accurate?. Too many small artists that took all the time from the top ones. The sound for them was also a disaster. At the end of the concert people didnāt even knew if it was over or not. Do better next timeā¦ā¦ This is for the venue.. Is there a way to control smoking weed during an event? The whole place smelled horrible.
All good until I guess they ran out of time. We missed 2 singers. But besides that, everything was good.
The show was excellent!!! Loved it untilā¦people were vaping and smoking weed near me. I suffer from asthma and the smell had me running for the door so I had to leave early.
Was really excited about this concert! I love regguetton so I wanted to see everyone and dance the night away. First part of the concert (before the dj intermission) was fun, great music, just loved it. Then Alex came out before ending the concert with Ivy Queen, Vico C and a few others. The sound system just wasn't the same at that point. Kept on going up and down on Ivy, and then a band started setting up for Vico C which took forever and really finished killing the mood for us. I didn't see him and unfortunately missed the last performers but at that point I was just annoyed and wanted to beat traffic. Loved the beginning but wasn't happy with the show after the dj break. Hopefully other people had a better time than I did.
The sound of the concert was horrible and there was no time for all the artist to perform.
I was highly disappointed. The sound was terrible. Couldn't understand what the artists were singing. The songs that I sang along I only recognized because of the music (which at times sounded bad) the ones that i didn't know I couldnt make up the words for the lyrics. Im only giving 2 stars because it wasnt the singers fault. I couldnt wven hear them. It was whoever was in charge of the sound's fault. I went specifically to see Vico C, but when he got on the stage i had to leave after the second song because the sound made him look so bad, i felt so sad.
Just need better audio on the top rows but other then that 8/10
Great show and will look forward to next year. Great showcase of artists. Staff there was very nice and accommodating as well as I needed a wheelchair.

The concert was good since the beginning. The sound was not so good but we are still jamming. Then they stop everything and turn the lights on..it was like the venue didn't want us to be there or finish the concert. They look bad.
