ALEX SENSATION IN CONCERT:
Superstar DJ and New York radio personality Alex Sensation is one of Caribbean music's biggest champions, bringing his signature blend of bachata, merengue, and electronica to clubs around the world. Whether he's laying it down at a community festival or raising the roof at a sports arena, fans lucky enough to catch Alex on tour in 2014 can expect a rhythm-filled night of dancing to cutting-edge Latin dance music. Returning to Madison Square Garden in 2014 for his annual La Mega Mezcla Live showcase, Alex will be joined by some of Latin music's hottest acts including Wisin, Plan B, and Sean Paul.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Columbian-born Alex Sensation immigrated to the US at a young age, getting his start as a DJ in his teens and landing a job at New York City's legendary Copacabana Club by age 17. Attracting the attention of radio impresario Tony Luna, Alex began mixing on the air, landing a gig as the main DJ of La Mega 97.9 FM's popular "La Mega Mezcla del Mediodia" program. Honing a unique mix of Caribbean-influenced sounds, Alex became one of the Northeast's hottest Latin club DJs. Six years later, he remains La Mega 97.9's most popular DJ, continuing to bring together the brightest talent in Latin music at the annual La Mega Mezcla Live featuring Alex Sensation and Friends concert.

I WAS THEIR TO HAVE FUN WITH MY FAMILY AND I DID. SO WHAT THE PEOPLE AROUND US WERE DOING THEIR THING. THEY PAID THEIR WAY JUST AS I DID. IT WAS WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AND VERY PROFESSIONALY SET UP. THE ONLY THING I CAN COMPLAIN ABOUT IS TONO ROSARIO, SERIOSLY DUDE WHAT A CLOWN. GROW UP AND TAKE OFF THE COSTUME. FOR SOMEONE WHOM I SAW AS I GREW UP WITH MY FATHER AND WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE TODAY IS A SHAME TO US SPANISH PEOPLE. oTHER THAN THAT ALEX YO UARE THE MAN, DADDY YANKEE YOU KIILED IT WITH THE FREESTLYE. I was seated in great place , but amongst the most horrible people. The point I'm trying ti get to is the that groups of people around where smoking illegal substances. My family and I decided to complain, but no action was taken place. Second, the artists that were promised to come , never appeared.

Loved it when Hector Acosta "El Torito" came out, Omega, Prince Royce, Luis Enrique, Daddy Yankee, Toño Rosario.... It was such an unforgettable experience...................

First i was interrupted twice to move because no one took the time out to seat me in the correct location. Second the seating,view and sound were bad.Third at the end of the night when it was time to leave all the esculaters were turned off so we had to walk all the way down. fourth i was really disappointed that as the singers were not announced before coming on stage to sing. i did not know who the singers were until they sang a song i knew.Some singers i did not even know at all. Hope that in the future the concerts are better corernated.
