ALEX SENSATION IN CONCERT:
Superstar DJ and New York radio personality Alex Sensation is one of Caribbean music's biggest champions, bringing his signature blend of bachata, merengue, and electronica to clubs around the world. Whether he's laying it down at a community festival or raising the roof at a sports arena, fans lucky enough to catch Alex on tour in 2014 can expect a rhythm-filled night of dancing to cutting-edge Latin dance music. Returning to Madison Square Garden in 2014 for his annual La Mega Mezcla Live showcase, Alex will be joined by some of Latin music's hottest acts including Wisin, Plan B, and Sean Paul.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Columbian-born Alex Sensation immigrated to the US at a young age, getting his start as a DJ in his teens and landing a job at New York City's legendary Copacabana Club by age 17. Attracting the attention of radio impresario Tony Luna, Alex began mixing on the air, landing a gig as the main DJ of La Mega 97.9 FM's popular "La Mega Mezcla del Mediodia" program. Honing a unique mix of Caribbean-influenced sounds, Alex became one of the Northeast's hottest Latin club DJs. Six years later, he remains La Mega 97.9's most popular DJ, continuing to bring together the brightest talent in Latin music at the annual La Mega Mezcla Live featuring Alex Sensation and Friends concert.

La mega mezcla was the best so far, best seats, no line at rest rooms just great event . The concert was great many performers and Alex sensation was the best as always
The concert was awesome. Their were a few artists I don't care to hear but most were awesome. I would have wanted more songs from Tony Dize. Overall a great experience.

The sound system was horrible there were times that you couldnt hear the artist singing also some of the artist didn't announce themselves how do i know who your are if you don't say your name? this would of got four stars if we could here the artist and if there werent so many random people walking around on stage

Awesome night! It was the first time I had the chance to see a mostly all Reggaeton concert and it was definitely worth every penny. It wad pretty cool seeing Frank Reyes there as well!
Positives: -Very fun, exciting concert overall! -Artists were awesome! Loved that there was a variety of artists and all popular at the moment. -Loved being close to them since I got floor seats -loved the flashing sticks we got -My favorties: Chino y Nacho, Wisin, Don Omar, J Balvin y Gente de Zona Constructive criticism/ to work on: -Mics went off a few times -Wish there was more space to dance within floor seats and ability to move around in my area -Too much break time between some artists. It would've been better if the artists just performed back to back with no break in between each one, to keep the momentum going and not get the audience tired and bored. -I realize there are a lot of artists, but it would've been nice if each one would've performed just a few more songs
This is my third year attending this event; this time around it was awful. The acoustic during each performance was horrible; some even lynch. The rotation of each artist, lacked coordination, at times leaving the audience uninterested.
The best concert I have ever seen hope they come back next year.
It was more then just a concert, It was like everyone being in a club/party big enough to fit all those people. I surly cant wait until next years concert which will only get better.
It was amazing, the various artists that performed. Also, there was traffic and people control. No fights either.

I had the most awesome time. I won't change it for the world. I know it was a little bit under buget but still had fun. Can't wait till next year.
