In 2012, Swedish DJ and producer Alesso scored his first No. 1 single, played to a crowd of 60,000 at Britain’s Milton Keynes Bowl, and was selected by Madonna to open her MDNA tour – and he was just 21. Under the mentorship of Swedish House Mafia’s Sebastian Ingrosso, the progressive house wunderkind had already made a name for himself among electronic music fans with a huge sound and strong live presence that belied his age. After a string of acclaimed productions and remixes for the likes of Avicci, Tiesto, and Kaskade, Alesso established himself as an artist in his own right in with original productions “Years,” featuring Mathew Koma, and “Calling (Lose My Mind),” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance chart. His 2013 collaboration with Calvin Harris “Under Control” has become a staple on his Uprising live performance tour, which ticket buyers have described as a decidedly euphoria-inducing experience.
Unforgettable night at Shrine! The visuals and sound system were excellent, and I'd go to another show like this in a heartbeat!
I seen Alesso previously at Swedish House Mafia's One Last Tour event back in March....So when I saw he was the Headliner for this event I knew I had to get tickets fast! It was at the Shrine, which is located near USC. It was a fairly decent size venue to host an EDM event. Security was rather slow. Once we entered the venue my bf and I saw there was room in front of the DJ Booth and so we stood there. The sound quality was amazing and so was the lasers and visuals! I had an awesome time!
Still can't get over the experience, it was beyond amazing!!
Alesso never disappoints. It was such an amazing experience, he put on a great show. I danced all night.
Great show!! Sound was amazing. Security and staff were good. Performers were awesome!!
Very awesome set by alesso. Great venue to host it at. Onky reason I gave it a 4 out 5 was the fact that this was an 18+ event. Horrible....I never seem so much pimples in one night in all my life. Little kids everywhere! Dear lord. But the music made up fot it.
I had a seizure and got sent to the hospital halfway through the show. If that's not a sign of a good time I don't know what is.
The energy was great, the venue was okay. A little sketch. The downfall is that the concert started at 9pm and Alesso didn't come out til 1am which sucked because my friend and I had to take the metro back which close at 3am. When he did come out it was great!
Mind = blown. Quality setup, quality performance. Definitely worth the money.
Absurd. If you see one person in your life see Alesso. 3rd time seeing him and he gets better every time
It was awesome from beginning to end, and the best part was that it got better and better as it went on! I felt like Dev's set was too short, it only lasted like 35 or 40 minutes it seemed like. However, Alesso blew me away! Amaaaazing performance from him! <3
Alesso killed it. He played some of my favorite songs and the lighting and effects were awesome! 3LAU was pretty good too.
One of the best nights of my life! Everything about it from beginning to end was amazing besides the port-o-potty smell. But aside from that, I was mesmerized. Alesso did his thing!
Just saw him at Pacha...he absolutely destroyed it. Can't wait to see him again!
