Overall, I enjoyed the concert, but it was easily a middle-of-the-road event. Club Firestone has possibly the WORST ticket-taking setup I've ever seen. I waited in line for well over an hour before I got in, and the venue holds less than 2,000 people, and it was not even sold out. We missed We Came As Romans because of the delay. Of Mice and Men put on a good show despite a substitute lead singer. The Word Alive sounded awful, but since it was the first time I'd seen them I can't tell if it was the venue or the band. A Skylit Drive were very good despite a short 6-song set and replacement guitarists (probably the cause of the shortened set, since they've had little time to learn the material). Alesana were AMAZING. They played about an hour, and 8 of the 11 or 12 songs they played were from the new album, which the stage and the musicians were themed to fit as well. Very energetic, very raw emotion poured into the music, they easily stole the show. I'd like to have seen We Came As Romans, but that is the venue's fault, not the bands'. I'd definitely recommend the show.
