Alaska 5000 on Tour

Drag Race icon Alaska 5000 is bringing her high-energy pageantry, raucous comedy and pop-star fashion to the stage in fall 2022 with The Red 4 Filth North American Tour. Her live shows are electrifying, supported by high-fashion backup dancers, electronic beats, sassy lyrics and plenty of 2000s-inspired looks. Justin Honard, aka Alaska 5000, describes the new album Red 4 Filth as drawing "upon the sounds and textures of the 90s and early 2000s, with pop songs that are about love and friendship."4 Drag fans won't want to miss this must-see show, so make sure to get tickets for Alaska's first-ever headlining tour in fall 2022.

Alaska 5000 Live in Concert

A self-described extraterrestrial from the planet Glamtron, Alaska 5000's spacecraft is thought to have crash-landed in the Matanuska Valley sometime in 2010. She was allegedly discovered by the U.S. Government in the remote region of Alaska with a 1972 issue of Vanity Fair and a can of Tab. Regardless of how she got here, TV audiences fell in love with the all-talented Alaska 5000 as the runner-up on the fifth season of "RuPaul's Drag Race" and winner of the second season of "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars." Alaska 5000 is the creative vision and drag identity of Justin Honard of Erie, Pennsylvania. After gaining success on "Drag Race," Alaska roused attention with the release of the 2013 single "Ru Girl," followed in 2014 by the hilarious "Your Makeup Is Terrible." In 2015, Alaska released her debut album, Anus, which reached the Top 5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums and Dance/Electronic Albums charts. The similarly successful album Poundcake arrived in 2016, followed by Vagina in 2019. Her fourth album Red 4 Filth is set to turn the world of drag music upside down with unforgettable pageantry and a nationwide tour in 2022.

    Huge miscommunications with no accountability

    by A. M. on 11/21/22

We paid for the meet and greet and Alaskas team nor the venue communicated anything except to be there at 7. We arrive at 7 and the meet and greet has already happened. The venue said it was alaskas teams issue and Alaskas team said it was the venue and that they were aware venues weren’t sending communication to people who paid for the meet and greet but obviously they hadn’t done anything to address. The show itself - the opener was mediocre - Blue was okay. Alaska took far too long from the ending of the opener to her to come on stage. All in all my best advice is to be sure to assume the people taking your money aren’t going to give you information so call and do the leg work yourself.

    AMAZING

    by M. M. on 11/11/22

I was a big Alaska fan prior to this show but never seen her perform in person. It was AMAZING - entertaining and great production. I took my family who had never been to a drag show/performer and they LOVED IT. If you love pop music or more so you love Alaska this show is worth it. Got to meet her as well with my VIP tickets she was very nice. Late night but worth it.

Best show in a LONG time

by Danielle on 11/8/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

Wow. WOW. Alaska really knows how to put on a show! The costumes were incredible, the vocals were great as always, and the backup dancers? Honey they stole they show. She did all of my favorite songs from the album, and the venue was so intimate that I felt like she was singing right at me. We got to meet her and the dancers afterward and they were all so kind and gracious, I was so happy with the entire experience. I would LOVE to see this show again, and I am definitely looking into seeing a show at the Paradise Rock Club again. I had never been and it was such a lovely, intimate feeling venue. I did have a spot at the barricade though, so that may have something to do with it! (Parking at this venue seems like a challenge but just drive around the side streets and you’ll find it pretty easily! Get there early to get a good spot to see the show!)

    Ok

by HD on 11/8/22Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

I love Alaska, but the opener was very off key, and there was a good dead hour between the opener and Alaska that was filled with the same 4 songs and no explanation to the packed crowd.

I had so much fun. I met Alaska who was delightful and obsessed with my friends fingernails. The crowd was delightful and wonderful and friendly. Alaska is far more talented than I could ever have imagined.

Alaska was great…once she got started

by Nevets on 11/6/22Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

Alaska was, of course, fantastic…but if the show starts at 8…Alaska should be on stage well before 9, which is when she first came out. That was frustrating.

    Loved the show

by Nise on 11/6/22Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

The event was a lot of fun. I felt the tour staff was approachable and friendly. And show was fun and funny. On the other end I felt like the staff at the venue was rude and disorganized. I recommend the show not the venue.
