About

Electronic dance music duo Adventure Club  exploded on the scene with their irresistible version of melodic dubstep, fusing heavy bass with swirling synths, stylish soundscapes, and gleaming vocals. In late 2013, the Canadian group helped North American ticket buyers party and dance the night away on their headlining Superheroes Anonymous Tour. Adventure Club  is also a festival favorite, having played Las Vegas’ Electric Daisy Carnival, Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, and Seoul’s Ultra Music Festival in 2013. Their four-song EP, “Calling All Heroes, Pt. 1,” came out in October 2013 on BMG to widespread critical acclaim and features the blissful single “Gold” with the vocalist Yuna. Based out of Montreal, the EDM pair is made up of Christian Srigley and Leighton James. They put themselves on the map with hugely popular remixes of Brand New’s “Daisy,” Flight Facilities’ “Crave You,” and Britney Spears’ “Till the World Ends.” Their highly danceable, deep electronic sound,  influenced by Skrillex and Tiësto, features heavy drops and soaring high-pitched vocals.

  • Weak

I must start off by saying that I expected a LOT from Adventure Club. I have been listening to their music for 2 years now; infact, their music was what launched me into my love of dubstep, as a genre. With this said, I was very disappointed with their performance. Aside from the songs that I knew would be good - Youth, Crave You, Do I see Color - the rest of what they played sounded like typical electronic music that would be played at a crappy 18 and over club. Their lights were weak, and at one point, they went out completely. The DJs lacked enthusiasm - if you are into jumping up and down and "fist pumping" then maybe they are for you. But I was unimpressed. I have seen a LOT of big names this year - Rusko, Borgore, Bassnectar, Feed Me, Zeds Dead, Skrillex, Nero, Pretty Lights, School Boy - and Adventure Club is barely fit to open for any of these groups. I was very disappointed, and believe me, I did not go into the show with anything but high expectations. Adventure Club did not play much of their own music, and what's worse is that the music they played was OLD and CLICHE - nobody pays $50 to see a headliner play "One More Time" by Daft Punk. It felt like I was at a highschool dance more than at a show. Sorry Adventure Club, but you guys were the worst headliners i have seen this year. Stick to producing music and putting it on youtube, your stage show is weak.

  • Adventure Club Fox Theater- Pomona

Music was great. Lights were great. Only thing is that it was more of a concert than a rave. Most people were dressed in normal clothes rather than neon skirts, colorful candy, and bro tanks.

Adventure Club killed it and so did DVBBS! Only thing that sucked was when the sound blew out for about 5 mins. DVBBS was able to still keep the party going though.

  • Adventure Club-sweet; line control-bad

by EDMjunkie on 11/24/13House of Blues Dallas - DallasRating: 3 out of 5

Adenture Club came and gave a scintillating performance. But, the openers were just okay, though. DBVVA was especially atrocious; they were admittedly drunk and tried to pump up the crowd with repeated "f*** yeah, Dallas". And when they accidentally cut off their music they blamed HoB, but it was obviously the DJ's error. Also, the security line was unfortunately long. I understand trying to eliminate people who bring in pills, but organization here was lacking. The lines were chaotic and 30yr old nerds who've never seen drugs were given as much crap at security as the 19yr old raver who's dilated eyes, neon pink leg warmers and manic cadence betray her pharmacologically induced state.

  • Hours of unforgettable EDC music

    by AlexTaylour1895 on 11/15/13The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

Hunter Seigel started it out with mostly trap music and finished with a killer finally. DallasK did not hesitate in getting started, with only seconds between Seigel leaving the stage and DallasK's first drop. DallasK primed the room with great energy filled EDM, getting everyone off their feet. DVBBS absolutely killed it, acting more as a headliner for the your rather than an precursor to the main set. With popping champagne and crowd surfing and not to mention mind blowing drops like Tsunami, Chris and Alex rocked the house and I mean every nail and board in that building. Adventure Club continued the hype with a smoky mysterious entry and hours of only prime music, most notably Seven Lions remixes and Zedds rendition of Alive in addition to AC's numerous top hits like Gold and Crave You. The concert was well worth the soreness of jumping and fist bumping until 1:30am on a Tuesday night.

  • AWESOME TIME

by Kylaa on 11/15/13The National - RichmondRating: 5 out of 5

ALL of the openers were entertaining and upbeat. Had the crowd constantly grooving. Played an encore that made going out on a Tuesday work night so worth it.

  • Adventure Club killed it

I had a ton of fun at this show. Adventure Club played a great set and the crowd was loving it. I loved that the crowd that night was enjoying the show, and I didn't see any rowdy fights or disturbances.

  • Gotta love Adventure Club

My boyfriend and I were the most sober attendees of the show, however overall it was still a blast and I was a big fan of all of the opening DJs. However, I am not to keen of this venue. First off, the tickets said doors would be open at 8:30 p.m. We got into line at about 8:20 and waited until 9 until they started letting people in. That being said, I had to use the ladies room incredibly bad and they only had one security guard at the door checking people's IDs. Now I could understand that an establishment can take time checking IDs to obviously prevent kids under the age of 18 in, but this security guard didn't even flinch when people didn't take out their IDs (mostly younger looking girls). On top of that he was okay with the three or four people that cut from the back of the line to the front. That aside, the venue is pretty nice and the show was incredible.

  • Surprisingly awesome!!!!!

by jagermanjensen on 8/28/13Club Ampersand - New OrleansRating: 5 out of 5

I've always been a fan of Adventure Club so when i went to the concert in New Orleans i was expecting a melodic set.... i was dead wrong. Their set was insane, high intensity beats dropping like crazy, as well as some melodic. Overall it was an awesome experience and one of the top 10 EDM DJ's in the world in my opinion. (though the club i went to wasn't the best, but it is what it is)
