  • a good time...

by moedee on 2/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 3 out of 5

we had a great time watching our kiddos enjoying themselves, wish they would come when the weather is warmer so the stadium could be used... less noise and bigger jumps... our arena is small, not much room to do much. tickets were aslo a little pricey a family of four it was $180+ most of the time there was setting up and taking down. (please make sure your kiddos have muffs for their little ears.)

  • I expected better from Monster Jam.

by Minde on 2/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 3 out of 5

It was ok. We watched a 2 1/2 hour show and probably saw an hour of actual monster trucks. There was a lot of quad racing and a lot of commentating and people trying to sell you things. My boys (ages 4 and 2) got very antsy and bored when the monster trucks were not going. The course was also extremely small and they only had a measly 3 cars (pre-crushed) on each side of the course. We expected a larger course with more racing, some buses and hills, and more overall monster truck time. I have to say, we will probably not do this show again. The only good part was seeing 3 of the more well-known monster trucks. We never even heard of the other 5 trucks that were there.

Great show, always a pleasure when the big trucks land in Worcester. We go every year and haven't missed one yet!!!

  • Event went well

by BigGlasses on 2/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

This is my 12th year in a row at Monster Jam in Pittsburgh. The new arena made everything stand out more. The trucks did well but could have been more spectacular. Has been better in the past but it never disappoints

  • A little disappointed

    by Shannon1981 on 2/21/11FedExForum - MemphisRating: 3 out of 5

I bought tickets online to take my son to see the "big trucks". I didn't see anywhere on the website that any certain age got in free, but when we went throught the line to get in, the guy checking tickets told me my son was young enough that I didn't have to purchase a ticket for him. That was $12 wasted! Then, after getting into the building and buying my son a toy truck, we were told we couldn't enter into the pit to see the trucks and drivers. It was supposed to be from 5:30-7, but at 6:20 it was closed??? Try telling a toddler he can't see the trucks because they closed early... that was a lot of fun. The show was good, but I think my disappointment overshadowed the rest of event.

  • Totally Awesome Show!!!!!

    by Heather1573 on 2/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

We had front row seats which was a complete surprise until we got there! I knew we'd be 12 rows back, not thinking they would have the first 11 taped off! The show was awesome and my daughter loved it! She loves Grave Digger! I do too, but its all about the kids. We stood in line for autographs, which I thought was going to take forever, surprisingly the line moved pretty fast. What a great mother and daughter day out! We will be there again next year!!!!

  • It was fun

by slymommy on 2/21/11Oklahoma City Arena - Oklahoma CityRating: 3 out of 5

We had great tickets and could pretty much see everything. However there was giveaways and it was very apparent they were rigged considering that they were all given to the same area!

  • Monster jam

    by Nurselisa07 on 2/21/11Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

It was fun, but it would have been better with no rain. The trucks could not get any traction with the track so muddy... I wish it could have been rescheduled..

  • Monster Jam Pittsburgh Way too small!!!

by Pghlers on 2/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 1 out of 5

Not enough cars for the trucks to go over, too many shows in 1 weekend and you could tell the drivers were going easier on there trucks and my 11 year old son couldnt see over the wires right in front of us while we purchased row A seats just so we could see good.

  • Monster Jam lives up to the Hype!

by Stick004 on 2/21/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

With Dennis Anderson finally returning to St. louis and nearly all name drivers I know from TV, Monster Jam was again worth the wait. I was great to see demo-cross back as the quads tend to be pretty boring just powersliding around the corners. (Let's see a course that actually requires some riding skill and uses more of the arena turns.) The pit party was again packed but still kid friendly. I've already bought tickets to next year!

  • To many breakdowns

by qwkcut on 2/21/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 1 out of 5

All the trucks broke down on Saturday night. Wasted evening. I would rather watch paint dry.

  • Great event!

    by 77sizzler on 2/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 5 out of 5

Seats were awesome, and the trucks were great! The snowmobiles and quads were a nice added feature. Great show and it didn't break the bank to go and enjoy it!!

  • Monster Jam

by Anonymous on 2/21/11Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best Events!!! Incredible jumps and speed for Monster Trucks.

  • by Anonymous on 2/21/11Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

I had a blast at Monster Jam at Dodger Stadium. The only thing was the rain but, it did not ruin the event. We just brought extra trash bags to cover up and just enjoyed the show. My sons eyes lit up when he saw the monster trucks. The event was awesome!!!!!!

  • No Bueno

by ktfish on 2/21/11Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 1 out of 5

I was excited about the Monster Trucks at the Dodger Stadium for a change, rain wasn't going to stop us from attending. My hubby and I suited up in rain gear and went expecting some nice muddy action. Instead, the trucks couldn't gain any traction to make any decent jumps. The event was a dud in the mud. Next time I have tix and it's raining, I'll eat the $$.

  • Small Arena but still great for kids

by Daddd on 2/21/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 4 out of 5

Our first event at the new CONSOL Center. Being a fan of monster trucks for ten years we secretly were hoping the arena was a little larger than Mellon. Unfortunately, we think its actually smaller. Even though we were hoping for more, kids & anyone who has never been to a live event loved the show. Monster Mut's tongue was a huge hit. Monster Jam is a great event. The tickets are reasonable, the drivers focus on the kids having fun. After each event they sign autographs to what seemed to be a never ending line of fans. We recommend the show. Hopefully some day they will utilize Heinze Field or a similar large course. The small arena leaves the experienced fan possibly a little disappointed but at the same time you have to admire how the drivers manage to run a 1400 HP, truck with 47" tires within the limiting confines.

  • Dennis Anderson was insane!!!!

by bigdaddy020876 on 2/21/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Over all great show, the family loved it, kids had a blast. Plan on going every year!

  • Monster Jam Wet & Cold

    by ChevyGirl67 on 2/21/11Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 4 out of 5

It was fun however it rained the whole time... Stopped for about 10 minutes due to lightning... Can't wait for next year

  • Monster Jam rocked OKC

by AngryBillBryant on 2/21/11Oklahoma City Arena - Oklahoma CityRating: 5 out of 5

The event was awesome. Great trucks and fun halftime show with motorcycles and quads. The drivers coming in the stands to hand out items was great for the kids.

  • Advanced Auto Parts Monster Jam was awesome!

by Polarbabe99 on 2/21/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

We had purchased tickets to see the monster trucks at a much smaller location near our home, which we had attended in the past. Unfortunately my son was ill and we were unable to attend. We purchased tickets to the St Louis event and we are so pleased that we did. The overall experience was much greater. Because there is a huge difference in stadium size, we were able to see more trucks and more action. We will definately be returning to the St Louis Monster Jam in the future! Also, because of the layout of the stadium, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Our views were all unobstructed. I only wished it started an hour or two earlier as my children tend to be in bed by 8:00. Even with the noise level, they still had a hard time staying awake.
