I love Monster Jam, no matter where I'm sitting, and so does my husband. I already can't wait til next year!!!
The show was okay, but not worth the money. The best part was the intermission of the bikes, motocycles, and four-wheelers. Great job everyone.
The Monster truck part of the show was mediocore Grave Digger saved that part of the show. I know that due to the lack of room the truck show is limited but would have preferred something more from the trucks. The half time show was much more entertaining and exciting. The BMX bikes, the motorcycles and quads made the whole show worth the money.
This is my second year attending the monster truck show. My nephews love the freestyle but really could do without the racing. Make sure you have ear plugs, as it gets loud. Some of the music played had quite a bit of cussing in it, which seems inappropriate for a family outing but again, if your kids have ear plugs, they probably won't notice. Also, there were no souvenir stands on the 300 level. By the time we made it down to the 100 level, after the show, there were very few items left. Last year, we sat in the 100 level and the souvenirs sold out then as well.
The rain didn't stop the trucks just slowed them down. Sometimes really reeeeaaally slow. The races at times just were to funny watching them trying to get to the finish line. The mud spin...not too many spins were funny. Freestyle got better once Canidice in the Dalmation Mutt came out. You go Girl! The track is very small. the course was identical to Anaheim, bummer. No Tshirts thrown out to the crowd. Even though there was no room to drive around the track to shoot them out. They could have walked around the perimeter of the stadium and thrown Tshirts. Seats on the field level should not be sold from row A-S. All you could see there was the top the freight cars. The drivers as ususal put on a great show "rain" or shine. Monster Truck Drivers are #1no other sport comes as close as them to being there for their fans.
Monster Jam was just, AWESOME. The new track design let the trucks go faster, jump higher and catch more air than ever before. This was, far by the best, Monster Jam that I have been to. And I have been to alot of them. All the trucks gave their best. Grave Digger gave everyboby more than they came to see. Just AWESOME!!
The trucks were good but get a little boring after seeing them more than a couple of times. The motorcyles and jumps were very entertaining. Bring your ear plugs because it can get loud.
This show was better than the others we attended. We got great seats!! It was pretty loud and the kids really enjoyed it very much. I believe we got our monies worth.
it was great but it need a bigger show floor. The price for the food was great you got alot of food and cool thing to take home , parking was not bad either and the pit pass was be on great my son was sooooooooo happy with we got his monster truck and book signed I will be going back as long as they have it
i took my kids to see monster truk last year. it was amazing then and it was amazing period.
The show at Monster Jam 2011 - St. Louis was awesome, but I must say I was disappointed when I printed my tickets that I purchased from ticketmaster and the pit passes were not included this year. In previous years they were included with our tickets. When I printed my tickets it was too late to find any free pitpasses so the kids could see the trucks up close.
Monster Jam was awesome!! It was exciting and the drivers didn't disappoint!! It was a boatload of family fun for an affordable price.
I have just started taking my youngest son to these events.Last year was the first for him. This year he is four and loved it even more.He hooted and hollered like he was a pro.My nineteen year old still goes with us,and he loves it too.My older sons and I have attended these events for over fifteen years,The twenty one year old stopped going last year.
Too loud, too slow paced, and too much dead time between events especially when something breaks down which is often. And why do you turn the lights off for the motorcycle part? My son couldn't see with the lights out and it was one of the more interesting parts of the show. Lose the bicycle guys and do more freestyle jumping with the motorcycles and quads.
Hosting monster trucks at Dodgers Stadium was too small a venue. They couldn't get up to speed and go flying through the air like was shown on commercials for the event. During the two hour show, only two cars got crushed. The rest of the time, they were just sliding around in the mud. About an hour into the show, I was actually bored. I wouldn't have thought I could be bored at a monster truck show. Another surprise was the number of breakdowns. By the end, five trucks had been left abandoned on the field. This limited the mobility of the ones that could drive, further reducing the already small playing field. My seats would have been great, were it not for giant trash bins blocking much of my view. The bins were used as barriers between the crowd and the trucks, but cut off 50% of my view of the event. Then, I was seated behind some heavy machinery. They could should have been parked off to the side instead of out in the open, practically part of the show. I paid over $100 for two tickets. Cost compared to entertainment value, I over paid and would gladly take a refund or future discounted entry.
bets show ever and i haven't missed one in probably 10 years!
Monster Jam can put on a great show, but this was not one of them. The DCU Center in Worcester is far too small for a monster truck show. It was almost not worth the trip. I took my son to a show in Conn a couple summers ago at an outdoor race track. The show was great and the trucks got some serious air off the ramps. At this show, they couldn't hammer it because there wasn't enough room to stop after the ramps. Bottom line- if you want to see monster trucks, go to an outdoor show or a much bigger arena.
The show overall was good. The monster trucks were great. I didn't like the set up of the course as well this year, I have to say last year's course was better. I also think not having the motor cross racing and jet powered fourwheelers left the show lacking a whole lot. We have been to three Monster Jam shows (one in Calvert City, KY and two in St. Louis) and having the regular four wheeler races and demo car races was not what we had hoped to see. We enjoyed seeing the motor cross and jet powered four wheelers so much that was one of our selling points for coming back this year. I am not sure however that we will go again next year unless these things are brought back. I also tend to think that the freebies should be distributed throughout the stadium, not concentrated in the sections 113-117. It was this way both years. I also thought the announcing this year was not as great as in the past. I am not sure if was the announcer or the sound system but the previous year was much easier to hear (even with earplugs) and easier understood. We had made this a family event to look forward to each year, now I am not so sure. Hopefully they can step it up a little next year and keep those loyal fans coming back.
grave drigger free style was amazing! my 3 yr old boy loved it! and digger of course is his favorite:) hes ready for another!
Over all Me and my son had the time of our lives!!! Although it did rain, and the track was super muddy, it was still fun. I did think it was probably best that they dont do the show in the rain because alot of the trucks could not perform to their full capabilitys and it realy showed. Aside from that, everything else was the bomb! I thought it was going to be exciting to experience this show but even all muddy, We still were blown away by the energy and the exciment of the show. The M.C. of the show was phenominal. The drivers signitures was a rewarding experience as well. The felon driver was wearing normal clothes at the signing so I had to ask him, what truck do you drive? but the maximum destruction driver was by far the coolest. I asked him for a picture of him and my boy so he grabs my son and posed for an awsome monster jam photo. I thought that was totaly monster jam. Had a blast! definitly will be back next year. Just want to end with what i cant stop saying since the show, MONSTER JAM BABY, YEAHHHH!!!
