  • Monster Jam Rocked the Dome

by jsjonz01 on 2/22/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

There was not a bad seat in the Edward Jones Dome. This was our first Monster Jam and it was awesome!!! We did sit in the upper deck, but was very pleased with the seating. It wasn't too loud up there, and you could still see everything! All trucks and drivers put on an excellent show, but Dennis Anderson, driving Grave Digger, brought the dome down! You the man Dennis!!!

  • Great Show but there were Big Issues!

by 2Dads2Boys on 2/22/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 3 out of 5

The show was Great!! But we stood in line for 45 minutes and the t-shirts were sold out EVERYWHERE!! Two 7-year old boys very very disappointed they had saved for a T-shirt and walked away with nothing. 1 booth had 4 little trucks for an exhorbant amount of $10 each (regularly about $4). But we felt so bad we bought them the 2 trucks. The show was Great but when it was time to go we had to wait 2 hours to catch a Metro Link back to vehicle because the Blues Hockey game was let out at the same time. O.K. not a problem you think, it was raining and where the Dome is located there may be 2 bars around so no where to take cover for the ton of people waiting with kids. Traffic was stuck for most of that 2 hours as well so we could not even hale a cab because there was none moving in or going out. So circumstances surrounding the show was a Disappointment and I probably will have to consider weather and such before going again. NEED MORE T-SHIRTS, when you have that many kids at an event there should be enough T-shirts to go around :-( that made me very upset!!!

  • The best show ever!!!

by TammyMcFee1 on 2/22/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

My family and I got to the show at about 5:30pm, because we wanted to find good parking. Our seats were great! The atmosphere was very friendly and what a great way to spend time with your family! We will definately be at the show next year!

Took the whole family, and everyone enjoyed the show. Especially the big finale by Grave Digger. However, this year's show paled in comparison to last year's event. No jet cars and no awesome motocross jumps. I was a bit disappointed!

  • Bad weather=bad time

by Rockabillymama on 2/22/11Dodger Stadium - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

We attended Monster Jam and it was POURING. First off, they charged $20 for General admission parking, or $40 for Preferred, the most i've EVER seen requested. It was pouring rain and the line to get your bagged checked was a madhouse. People were cutting in line, there werent enough attendants to tell you where to go, based on where your seats were. We loved the event, but if it's pouring that hard, it should probably be re-scheduled.

  • Great Show!

Monster Jam was great this year. At times they have off years, but that definately was not the case this year! We enjoyed the demo cars racing during break times and the Monster Trucks put on a great show! It was great to see Dennis Anderson back in Grave Digger and he put on a phenomenal show!!! This was our 9th year in a row going to Monster Jam and we are already getting a group together for next year!

Overall disappointed in the show. I thought here was more time spent on quad racing and snowmobiles combined than there was on the monster trucks, which is what I paid to see. I still recommend the show only because there's really is nowhere else around here to watch them accept the fair which was just as good and alot cheaper. My son enjoyed it. That's all that really matters.

  • Very cool !!

    by 978babe on 2/22/11DCU Center - WorcesterRating: 4 out of 5

My 7 year old son & I attended this event. Ear protection is a must especially for children. The Monster trucks were exciting and the staff certainly did a great job of the "in between" entertainment. It was wonderful that they "tossed" free stuff up into the audience, however, the only negative is that they only tossed to the same sections all the time. Also, seats along side would have given better view, end seating viewing was limited when the trucks drove over the cars and when the dirt bikes where doing tricks viewing was limited. Also a net was attached to the ceiling and obstructed our view during the dirt bike tricks.

  • Show was great!!

The show was great. Packed house. My 3 year old did not move for 3 hours because he enjoyed it so much. Can't wait for next year!

  • Wasnt that impressed

by RobertSuperman on 2/22/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 3 out of 5

The woman announcer was kind of annoying, the quad races were boring. The snow mobile jumping was pretty cool. I want to see the monster trucks get up & go, I would have liked to see on 1 truck on the floor at a time during the freestyle so that they have more room to do stuff & get crazy.

  • Monster Jam Amazing

by Jamcrazy on 2/22/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

The trucks, the side show, all of it was incredible! The seats were amazing and the trucks performed incredible for the audience! My children, who are huge Monster Jam fans, had a wonderful time and was sad to see it end! Great job!

Good show, but the area was a little small. The bike show was great. My grandchildren loved going into the pits.

  • Great Time!!

by rjsodie98 on 2/22/11Edward Jones Dome - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

We were a little dissappointed when Grave Digger didn't make it at the beginning. But, that happens. The freestyle was AWESOME!! Every truck let it all out for the fans. Great time and the kids loved it.

enjoyed the monster trucks and thought the pit pass was a great price and my family really enjoyed getting their pictures with the trucks i was dissapointed with the behavior of the 4 wheeler racers i thought this was a nice family event except for their arguing and unsportmans like behavior also enjoyed the snowmobile stunts

  • worst show ever

by whallpac on 2/22/11CONSOL Energy Center - PittsburghRating: 1 out of 5

My buddy and I took our sons to see Monster Jam in Pittsburgh on Feb 19. this is the fourth year we have gone to the show. It was by far the WORST show i ever paid money to see. The trucks didnt do anything. There was a "wheelie" comtest. All the trucks did was drive over the cars. During the "freestyle" contest all the trucks did was drive over the cars. For the trucks that were there it was awful. My son and his friend are 8 and they were booing and wanting to know why the trucks wern't doing anything. I spent a fair amount of money on these tickets and myself, my son and our friends were all thoroughly disappointed. I went to the local county fair and the no name trucks they had there put on a better show and it was free. The only option for cotton candy was $15 because ther had foam hats shaped like the trucks on all the candy. This is a family event and prices like that are rediculous. I can guarantee this we will not be attending this show at Consol Arena ever again. I will also guarantee I will strongly dissuade anyone I hear discuss future shows from going.
