Adekunle Gold on Tour
Nigerian singer/songwriter and award-winning international sensation Adekunle Gold is taking his talents on the road for his tour, dubbed Catch Me If You Can The Tour. Gold blew up in 2015 in his native country when his debut solo single "Sade," a highlife cover of One Direction's "Story of my Life," went viral and also won the award for Best Alternative Song at Nigeria's Headies. He flipped that into a contract with Olamide's YBNL Nation label and released two more singles -- "Orente" and "Pick Up" on the eve of releasing his debut album Gold, which peaked as high as seventh on Billboard's World Album Chart. In 2022, Gold released the tour-headlining album Catch Me If You Can, which includes the singles "High" featuring Davido and "Sinner" featuring Lucky Daye. Born Prince Omoba Adekunle Kosoko to the royal family of Lagos, State, Nigeria, Adekunle Gold is also the nephew of "Nollywood" actor Prince Jide Kosoko. Gold began his musical career at an early age, even joining the local church's junior choir before he was a teen. After attending Lagos State Polytechnic and studying graphic arts, painting and sculpture, Gold began his solo career. He teamed with renowned singer and songwriter SIMI for his debut single "Sade," which garnered him national attention. While he was already on the radar of the YBNL Nation label from having designed their official logo, with the radio success of "Sade," it became clear that he'd be a star artist for the group. The singles "High" and "Sinner" from his 2022 album Catch Me If You Can, which also includes guest artists Ty Dolla $ign and Davido, have already raked up millions of streams on Spotify, helping to solidify Gold as an international pop sensation.
Adekunle Gold put on an amazing show! This was my first time seeing him live and he did not disappoint. He gave us energy from beginning to end. He always came into the crowd and showed love to everyone! Very entertaining, can’t wait for the next concert.
I went with my wife to see the show,when we got to the showroom the Dj was playing some wicked Afrobeats tunes which was great.Alnost everyone was dancing and getting ready to have a great night with AG Baby. It took more than two hours before AG showed up, at that point poeple were frustrated and most starting leaving including us. If the show time says 7pm you have to stick to the time. This is America poeple have other plans and places to be. Secondly I think AG needs back up singers for his band. Thirdly I think most of the time he was screaming becos the band was too loud. I would like him to stick to the original melody of his songs better. I don't mind it,if it sounds jazz like,poeple expect you to sound like your record period or close to it.
The band was amazing, his voice was amazing! Really enjoyed it.
This was an awesome show. Kunle is a great performer and entertainer. Good from beginning till the end.
I had 4 free tickets as a present. None of us were familiar with the artist,but the music was fun, the band was tight and the venue was interesting. Would have rated it higher if we could sing along, but his fans were having a blast!
I and my party had a wonderful time. He did not disappoint! Most artists that I've attended their concerts often come late, but AG Baby was on time! I cannot wait for him to come back to MPLS. WE LOVE YOU!!!
He’s a very spiritual, humble, respectful and intelligent singer. I adore him!!! His aura and energy was just so amazing to watch.
It felt very surreal to see one of my favorite artists in person. I enjoyed the music and the vibes, the venue not so much as it is standing unless you pay for VIP and can sit so next time I will not wear the platforms I had. Pricing for food and drinks at the venue honestly could be lower but overall, I enjoyed it and love how much security there was. Felt very safe.
AG is a superstar! Great performance. Highly recommend seeing his performance!
When I tell you the ENERGY Adekunle Gold brings is unmatched. Unfortunately, I didn't get to stay for the entire performance. However, what I did experience, OMG nothing short of AMAZING. I NEED to see him again in his ENTIRETY!

The House of Blues in Chicago is a perfectly lovely venue. My sister and I arrived late to our resi in the Foundation Room and were still seated right away. We entered the concert hall well after 8, the show start time. We watched several openers, including Masicka and Nnamdi Amadi. Adekunle Gold was excellent!!! He performed every hit. The songs you didnt know were just as fun to dance and vibe to. He put on a great show including choreo and motivational call-and-responds. My sister and I would follow Adekunle Gold anywhere and I was very pleased with Chicago’s welcome.

AG Baby is a great performer. I knew his show would be a great time. The orpheum didn’t have screens which wasn’t great to see the artist if you weren’t standing.
AG Baby is a STAR! Such a great performance full of hit songs. I do think he should have interacted with the crowd a bit more, but overall a great show.
The Adekunle Gold concert was at the perfect venue, the MGM theater in Maryland! The sound was great and the seating was comfortable. The drinks were very affordable. My family and I truly enjoyed his performance! He came on stage late, but he performed a high energy show for two and a half hours.
