Surprising! Loved it! Felt more intimate and revealing than a regular concert. So many talents, some I knew would be amazing and some I learned about. Such a fun concert concept. Felt like a music festival with comfy seats and beautiful atmosphere. No fighting crowds or sitting in lawn chairs in the heat!
This is an annual concert for my friends and I. Each year I say there is no way they can top this one. Each year I am proven wrong. I love the atmosphere and the serenity of hearing the artist share there stories without all the extra noise. We will definitely be back next year.
Each artist shared short stories regarding their lives and songs prior to playing a tune. Each artist performed 3 songs, with each artist playing 1 song in a rotation with the other artists. The artists were awesome, the song choices were great, the crowd was engaged, the venue is amazing, there's not a bad seat in the house and the acoustics are good. It's an annual event and an must attend for any country music fans.
Had a radom ad pop up on Facebook for this concert, looked at the lineup and, decided its time for a date night with my girlfriend. Every artist on the line up was awesome, and we loved the show, but I mainly wanted to see Elvie Shane. His hit song "My Boy" came out right around the time I met my girlfriend, I knew going into this relationship she had 2 kids, 1 active father in the daughters life, the other father nowhere to be found in the sons life. Being raised by a single mother, and my father not being around much i knew how important it was to take it serious starting a relationship with a single mother. 2 1/2 yrs later I love this woman, and these crazy kids more than i can ever imagine. We weathered through some tough storms, still going strong. As we were enjoying the show i had this thought of how awesome it would be to purpose to my strong, independent, kind hearted of a woman on stage after Alvie played his song "My Boy". Odds of that ever happening are slim to none, its a nice fantasy to have. Anyways, it was a great show, we enjoyed our best date night we had so far.
This was such an amazing show with a huge line up of great talent. This was our first time to this event but it will not be our last that’s for sure.
I had no idea what to expect but it was such a neat experience! I loved that they all took turns singing and also telling stories. I think it was cool when you would watch the other artists singing along just like everyone else in the crowd. Highly recommend!
I’ll go on and say this was probably one of the best concerts I’ve been to! Venue was awesome and the music was out of this world! Won’t ever miss another one of these
This is the 3rd time to the Louisville Acoustic Jam and LOVED it again! At the Palace it is a more intimate setting showcasing seasoned artists along with many newer talents; love the personal stories and the interactions between them. The music is Awesome!!
Louisville Palace is such a good venue and the Acoustic Jam was such a great show. Jackson Dean, Pricilla Block, Kameron Marlowe, Elvie Shane, Randy Houser, and Parker McCollum were all amazing. I took my 12 yr old daughter with me and she had a blast.
This was one of the most amazing experiences I've had in a very long time. The atmosphere was so quaint. The artist were amazing, especially Ryan Hurd. His music is getting me through cancer treatment. It was awe-inspiring to hear him in person!
This is the third WAMZ acoustic show I’ve attended and I will be back. I love the format, bringing three artist up on stage and having each play a song, rotate to the next, then the next, then repeat. I wish all shows were formatted like this one. Always amazing and well-worth the cost. Five stars!
The Louisville Palace and Acoustic Jam were absolutely WONDERFUL! My only complaint was that the rules of the show stated that no video recording was allowed, yet I had phone screens blocking my view all night. It either needs to be taken off the “rules”, or it needs to be enforced. With that being said, The Louisville Palace isn’t like a typical venue where the slant is the depth of 2 steps, so the phones were blocking my family’s view throughout the duration of the event. I would have been more understanding if the event rules did not state that it was forbidden, so one or the other needs to be changed.
The lineup they had was awesome and i look forward to it next year if nothing gets in the way
Many up and coming country artist s and a few already established. This is a great event and i can't believe it is not a multiple night event or a bigger venue... If you like country music you won't be disappointed.
My first time in the Louisville Palace and what a great concert to see! This group of musicians/ artists was absolutely amazing! I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the night. I was impressed with the fact that they were giving a portion of the proceeds to St Jude’s Children’s hospital as well! I would love to see them again!
I loved everything about the show, the singers and venue except for the price of drinks. We aren’t in California or New York or Nashville. This is just Louisville, there is no reason a beer should cost $13. I will most likely not go to another show at the palace if they don’t lower their costs. Most people that attended that show are hard working propel that don’t make 6 figures a year.
Great lineup in a gorgeous venue. Only wish it could have gone all night.
I feel the stage is not wide enough for folks who had seats on side sections,, maybe next time don’t have so many on stage at one time, but, as a whole, it was Fantastic!! Great Artists and Amazing sound!!!
The artist selection wasn't as good as in the past.
