If you ever have the chance to see Aaron Tveit in concert run do not walk. He sang an extremely wide variety of songs flawlessly and put on an amazing show, his voice shining all the way through!
The theater itself was very clean and convenient with spaces. Our seats were in the middle on the floor, but there was still a very good view. The staff was very kind and actually helped us switch our original seats for ones closer to the stage which was awesome! The performance was spectacular, Tveit's song choices and musicality were terrific and his banter between numbers made the whole concert feel fun and light with a touch of intimacy. There were no clear mistakes and he even gave an encore!
Aaron Tveit has been a favorite of my daughter and mine for many, many years. That voice of his is always welcome in our world - the high notes, the low notes, softly sung, belts - whatever - we'll happily listen. And we both do always feel moved one way or another when one of his songs pops up. On a Wednesday, I received an alert from Ticketmaster he was having a concert downtown on Sunday - Mother's Day - BOOM! I sent a text to my daughter to see if she could make it and I had her response within nano-seconds. We chose to go with a General Admission ticket, which was a great choice as we stood just a few feet from the stage. Nothing like being able to see the whites of a performer's eyes. We were dancing and singing the entire time and will remember this night forever. He did not disappoint in any way at all - that kid can put on a show!!! I have just two complaints: 1) Either we weren't standing in a good place, or the sound system was poorly mixed (aside from regular feedback). 2) Is he part of some secret club or something? Try to find out about a touring schedule - I dare you. Google searches came up with nothing, even his own website didn't mention anything. I mean, it totally worked for us, but I think he could have sold quite a few more tickets had it been publicized better. I guess I will have to pay more attention to future Ticketmaster alerts!

For musical theatre lovers this was a divine combination of incredibly talented actor perform stage songs and pop songs and own the stage like theatre professional does! Sound and selections were wonderful! Only missed hearing Catch me if you can music. Aaron's band was excellent and his relaxed damilIr stage presence was fun and engaging Could have enjoyed much longer but thrilled to see him perform again!!
Incredible performance. Amazing voice and great stage presence. Very entertaining. He had a guest singer and she was amazing as well.
Nice intimate show, full of nothing but energy and the audience was in it from beginning to end. Pretty unforgettable. Aaron Tveit has talent PLUS.
This was one of the best shows I've seen and I go see a lot! His personality makes the show so much more enjoyable and with the amazing vocal talent he has it makes for one AMAZING show. He mixes his Broadway songs with Pop songs and it just works! I would go see him 1000 times if given the chance. Also, the House of Blues San Diego has some of the best acoustics you can find - the venue made it the perfect show.
This babe was absolutely incredible, as always. From seeing him on broadway several times in Hairspray, Rent and Next to Normal and watching him in Gossip girl, Graceland and everything in between, I have always been a fan. His voice and presence on stage is simply breathtaking. The night felt so intimate and personal, which was something I truly loved about it. The only thing was it wasn't long enough, I don't think it ever could be though as I could listen to him and watch him forever.. It certainly left me wanting more... he is mesmerizing, funny and charming with a voice of an angel... I truly hope he comes back!
This was my first Meet and Greet. It was a pleasure meeting Aaron, getting his autograph, having a picture taken with him, and some small talk about Middletown, New York, his place of birth. I first got to see Aaron in his bravura performance in the role of Gabe in "Next To Normal". I was hooked ever since. Aaron's choice of song was eclectic covering Stephen Sondheim to Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. He sang one song that brought tears to my eyes about his relationship with his father. The sound in the hall went from being able to hear a pin drop, and next a roar, when he completed a song, which was quite something. All and all, and I have seen a lot of theater for my 71 years here on earth, this was a magnificent and exciting night of theater. Can't wait to see him perform again. Bravo!!! Aaron.
An incredible night with a great meet and greet. Mr. Tveit is such a talent and so amazing to hear in person.
Aaron Tveit combines a tremendous singing voice, delightful humor, and an overall charming presence to provide a great evening of entertainment.
Excellent concert but was somewhat disappointed that the performance was only one hour and twelve minutes in length(no intermission).
We are so pleased that we had the opportunity to see Aaron Tveit live. My husband and I watched Graceland and BrainDead when they were on TV and also Les Miserable and Undrafted, the movies, and wanted to hear him sing. We were not disappointed in anyway by this concert. If you have the chance to attend an event with this talented man then don't miss it.
Fantastic concert! I came all the way from Mississippi to hear him and it was worth it! What a fantastic singer and incredible stage presence, he really owns the stage, and not only is he a great singer, he has so much experience on stage that it brings an extra dimension to the singing. He obviously works really hard to learn new songs, these were all different from his CD, and puts his heart and soul into the songs. Perfect night!
Aaron Tveit was incredible. He was warm and inclusive with his audience. Adorable and insanely talented!!! Fantastic concert.
I met him briefly before the show. He seems like a down to earth guy that happens to be wildly talented. His singing was flawless. His fans are very nice as well. I met one fan that had travelled to London and Sydney to see Aaron perform. After seeing the show, I can understand why.
Aaron is an absolutely amazing performer. He really engages the audience and draws them in with his magnetic personality. Nobody has more fun up on stage than he does and his voice is spectacular. Truly one of the best singing voices around. I really enjoyed this particular set list. A great mix of Pop/Rock/Theater selections. Even better than his show at Irving Plaza. If you have a chance to see Aaron Tveit live, GO!
This man can sing everything and anything. Hearing him sing is a little slice of heaven.
The absolute BEST show I've been to!! Aaron was amazing & fun! Alexa Green was also amazing! The venue was great! Had great seats!! Awsome cover of Queen's Somebody to love by Aaron
