Aaron Lewis, the Vermont-born powerhouse first found success with Staind - the 2000s-era hard rockers who injected meditative muscle into an era better known for mindless aggression. But while that band is still very much alive, it was never enough to satisfy Lewis' creative drive. Embracing his roots to earn a rare second round of success, a series of solo Country projects have led to two No. 1 Billboard Country Album debuts - TOWN LINE (2011) and SINNER (2016) - plus a PLATINUM collab with heroes George Jones and Charlie Daniels ("Country Boy"), and a GOLD-certified Billboard No. 1 with "Am I The Only One" in 2021. Lewis' 2022 solo album followed suit, with FRAYED AT BOTH ENDS emerging as the best-selling Country album in America, but he never wrote songs for the stats. No matter the sonic setting, Lewis writes and sings to get his truth out and his upcoming album THE HILL is no different.

I thought the show was wonderful. I liked the small atmosphere (great choice of venue for an acoustic performance). Aaron interacted with the crowd a lot which made it very intimate and personal.
Overall a very solid performance. Voice was amazing!!!! Great show! Talked more than he typically does during a show which was great! Great venue as well! Great song selections as well! I saw Aaron when he came in 2007 for his acoustic tour to Royal Oak. It was a great show and I have been waiting to see if he would ever come back to Michigan with his acoustic tour. The only issue I had with the shows was the audience members who felt the need to shout out songs for him to play.. for awhile he was humoring them but you could see he got fed up with the BS. I bet he would have played longer if the crowd was a bit more relaxed. My opinnion, Let the man sing and play what he wants!!!! Stop being so trashy and enjoy the performance. If you want to be a tool and yell out then go see someone else or better yet never leave your house. Would recommend anyone, even if they dont like Staind that much, to go see Aarons show. Its a great experience.
This concert was by far the best I have ever been to. I hope he comes back.....I will go again!
The Aaron Lewis show was one of the best I have seen. I am a huge fan of Staind, however, I absolutely loved seeing Aaron acoustically in an intimate setting. He has so much talent and the off the cuff improv way that he interacted with the audience was so entertaining. It really felt like we were hanging out listening to him play in his living room. All of the favorite songs were done as well as some of his new stuff that has not even been recorded yet. I would go to this show again in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone!
Acoustic with mic or without Aaron Lewis never lets us down with his self integrity. You know what you get from him and you can rest assured he's the same on stage or off. He has a passion unlike nothing else and he is doing exactly what he's meant to do. I'd love to sing with him one time!
A true talent. The venue was perfect for an accoustic concert. One of the best, if not the best, concerts I have been to. Magnificent performances!!!
He is a tremendous artist! He has so much passion in his voice and the entire show is amazing! I wish he would come to Cleveland, Ohio so we can see him again! The show is funny and the music is wonderful! We can't stop talking about it!
The show last night at the Motorcity Casino was amazing! For a true fan of Aaron Lewis' music and songwriting this show is a must see. He played a good blend of hits along with some new music and a few covers. He also interacted with the crowd a bit and showed us all his great personality which you don't always get to see at a regular Staind show (which I have seen 4 times in concert). All in all this was a great experience and I look forward to seeing him again anytime he comes to Michigan.
It is a good time to see him play and reflecting on the 80's songs really made me laugh!!
Aaron Lewis was unbelievable. Alcohol prices are totally out of control. The other guest were totally rude, go to a bar if you want to talk...

outstanding show. Great guy, great event. The venue was OK - but we thought we had great seats, and they turned out to be top row of the balcony - so that sucked. If you like great music - you need to see this show.
This is the first time I have ever seen Aaron Lewis Live. I have to admit I was amazed...My all time favorite concert ever!!! Can't wait to see him again. Robin Horlock was very good too. Perfect night!
This was the second year in a row that I saw Aaron do a solo acoustic show and it frickin rocked! As long as he keeps doing these shows I will be there. Simply Amazing!
Noisy talkative crowd distracted Aaron throughout the show. When he mentioned that it was distracting the ignorant young, drunk crowd cheered. Seems many thought this was supposed to be a raucous loud rock concert instead of the subtle one man and a guitar experience. When I could hear him Aaron performed well, but you can tell after a while he was just going through the motions waiting to get it over with.
I was not impressed with Aaron Lewis at all....he was rude and arrogant

Aaron gave a really great onstage performance. His artistry is true to form. Just like listening to my CD. I really enjoyed the small venue although the croud was a little disruptive (unfortnuate for the performer)

Aaron Lewis was wonderful, however, some in the crowd were not. I absolutely love a great rock concert but I was looking forward to a simple jam with just him and his guitars on the stage this time. The screaming and rowdy idiots that also attended made it less enjoyable for all of us, including Aaron Lewis it seemed. He played some new stuff, some old stuff and other people's stuff which really showed how versatile he is and the wonderful quality of his voice. Definitely a show to see and as always a wonderful site to see anyone at The Venue!
