About

Aaron Lewis, the Vermont-born powerhouse first found success with Staind - the 2000s-era hard rockers who injected meditative muscle into an era better known for mindless aggression. But while that band is still very much alive, it was never enough to satisfy Lewis' creative drive. Embracing his roots to earn a rare second round of success, a series of solo Country projects have led to two No. 1 Billboard Country Album debuts - TOWN LINE (2011) and SINNER (2016) - plus a PLATINUM collab with heroes George Jones and Charlie Daniels ("Country Boy"), and a GOLD-certified Billboard No. 1 with "Am I The Only One" in 2021. Lewis' 2022 solo album followed suit, with FRAYED AT BOTH ENDS emerging as the best-selling Country album in America, but he never wrote songs for the stats. No matter the sonic setting, Lewis writes and sings to get his truth out and his upcoming album THE HILL is no different.

  • Simply Incredible

by jenniferlunsta on 3/27/10Majestic Theatre San Antonio - San AntonioRating: 5 out of 5

Aaron Lewis just made his performance so real and unforgettable. It was amazing when he was performing what he wanted to perform. He didn't have a "guideline" but he did what he wanted. Especially when he messed up a little but hey that's what makes him a true performer.

This show was incredible, especially from front and center. Tabernacle needs to tighten up security though. The people coming down front were ridiculous.

  • Aaron Lewis so awesome

by Lhiannon on 3/26/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to a couple of staind concerts, and loved every minute. His acoustic performance totally embraced what makes me such a huge fan. He doesn't seem to put up a front. He, like his art, is what he is! He seems so honest and true as a person! My daughter and I cried when he performed Zoey Jane. As Emily Dickenson wrote, "success is counted sweetest / by those who ne'er succeed." Her father chooses not to be in her life. I know nothing about his personal life, but I have to believe he is a beautiful soul! Blessing to him and all that he hold dear!

  • Aaron Lewis was unforgettable!!!

I must say that I have never experienced a show as I did last night! Aaron Lewis is one of the most talented Artists I've ever heard, Ever!!! He interacted with the crowd as if we were good old buddies since grade school! I felt as if I had known him my whole life!!! Unfortunately for me that's not the case but when I left the concert I felt so empowered by his lyrics, that I had a Natural high!! :) I would love to see him again and again and it would never grow old. Thank you Aaron for the awesome show! Keep up the good work, and remember "Don't Tread On Me!"..... That saying will now stick with me forever!! Peace and Love

  • Aaron Lewis was incredible~!!

by Beanie254 on 3/26/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I love Stain'd, so I was excited about the idea of the lead singer, Aaron Lewis, doing an acoustic set at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando. Plus, the fact that we could sit instead of standing too close, and getting pushed around, as is sometimes the case with general admission seating, was an exciting proposition! Boy, did Aaron completely exceed my expectations! He was sooo good. His voice was so clear and beautiful, that the words seemed to bounce off the walls and resonate inside my body and my heart. It was magical! Not to mention that the guy is really, really funny! He had the audience in full out laughter more than once! I would see him again, and again, and again! I still get goosebumps just thinking about it!

  • Aaron rocked the house

by AtlALFan on 3/26/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome concert! Aaron played a wide variety of Staind songs, some of his own and some great covers. He played a great cover of "A Country Boy Can Survive" The Tabernacle is a great place to see a show - such an intimate setting. There were some disruptive fans that Aaron had to call out from the stage - that's really sad. They were on the 2nd or 3rd row and not even paying attention and talking the whole time. The crowd cheered Aaron for handling it.

Show was amazing. Played 2 new songs that were awesome and plenty of older stuff and covers. Purple rain was great! Wish idiots in the crowd new how knew how to act though.

  • Aaron Lewis UnStaind!

by bdvick on 3/26/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

The show was great! Aaron Lewis picked a perfect selection of Staind Classics as well as a few classic covers as well. The overall acoustics in The Tabernacle were perfect as well, which I think helped set the mood of the audience. Although there were a couple of hecklers out there, they managed not to stop the show! (Although Aaron gave them that option!!) Bottom Line, had a great time, fun night.

  • Aaron Lewis was AMAZING!

by Anonymous on 3/26/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

My husband and I just moved to N GA a few weeks ago and had been in So CAL. Aaron Lewis had come to the casino by our house but sold out before we could get tickets. I was so happy that we could still get tickets the night before the show here as we had just found out about it. We were in the 10th row, which was amazing. It was similar to just watching him have his own little jam session for a while. He is so talented and amazing to watch. He played for almost 2 hours!!!! Completely worth it! You could tell he was getting tired towards the end, especially since security wasn't watching how many drunks came up to the stage!

  • AMAZING !

by Smithcrazy on 3/26/10The Tabernacle - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I have been to Aaron's acoustic concert before and this concert surpassed the last. Of the thousands of artist I have seen this is BY FAR.....the most intimate and amazing experience.

  • Aaron Lewis was awesome!

by mermaid16 on 3/26/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I had been to the Hard Rock. It was a great venue to see an acoustic performance in. I have seen Staind but this was the first chance I had to see Aaron's acoustic performance. I drove 2 hrs during the work week to get there and it was totally worth it! This was one of the best concerts I have ever been to. You could actually sit down and sit back and truly enjoy his amazing voice. The thing that also made this acoustic performance even better than a normal concert was that you could really connect with the artist since they have more time to be stripped down and talk to their audience. I will definitely drive the 2 hrs during the week again next year!

  • AAron Lewis

by bsinn on 3/25/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Aaron lewis was once again awesome, He has amazing vocals and is a true artist. I was very annoyed at the crowd, while he singing and performing the crowd was loud, and made it difficult for the rest of us who paid to hear him sing.

  • The best Ever!!!!

by kylegator on 3/25/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Aaron Lewis is like no other artist. He is unbelievable acousticly, with an amazing voice. He sings with so much passion and feeling, but still rocks at the same time. You must see this.

  • Absolutely Amazing!

by Same4Walls on 3/25/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

I've been dying to see Aaron Lewis for years now, and I'm beyond excited that I got to see him! He played some of his hit songs, covers, and goofed around! I wish he had played some of his lesser known songs for the true fans, but I won't complain! It was just amazing to see him live and in person, a dream come true!!!

  • In one word EPIC!!!!!!

by jersey78 on 3/25/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

What a great show. I have see Aaron Lewis twice and every time it gets better. Totally new set list and even more creative than last time. Cant wait for him to come back.

  • Great Aaron Lewis solo show!

by Bennifer on 3/25/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 4 out of 5

Aaron Lewis had an awesome setup, four acoustic guitars layed out behind him and a microphone. He swapped guitars based on the song, most likely for tuning. He played most songs I expected to hear, not too many covers. He was interactive with the audience, although the crowd was very rowdy, often yelling too much and whistling too much. The Hard Rock staff did nothing to enforce heckling while he was performing. Overall a great show, excellent setlist and performance. I would definitely see him again, this was my second time going to a solo show for him.

  • Aaron Lewis can always be counted on to perform!

by Trina1970 on 3/25/10Hard Rock Live Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

Once again, Aaron Lewis poured his heart into his lyrics- His soothing yet melodic rhythm captured my attention the entore show. If only the rude people around me would have stopped talking. It is disrespectful to the performer and other concert goers there to actually listen to him perform. In addition, the videotaping and lights from the fan's cameras ruined alot of the moments bu seeing hands and digital images in front of me instead of Aaron himself. The rude people should be asked to leave. Or at least make accommodations for the people who are stuck sitting next to them!

  • Aaron Lewis was AMAZING!!

I have been a HUGE fan of Staind for over 10 years now! This was the first opportunity i had to see any of the band live and i was so impressed!! Aaron's vocals were incredible and this show will always have a special memory in my mind and heart!!! the only thing that would have made this experience better was if the rest of the band were there and if the crowd knew how to shut up!

One of the best solo live performances I have seen. This guy can play and sing. Well worth the money to go. I cannot wait until he comes again with or without Staind.
