About
Aaron Lewis, the Vermont-born powerhouse first found success with Staind - the 2000s-era hard rockers who injected meditative muscle into an era better known for mindless aggression. But while that band is still very much alive, it was never enough to satisfy Lewis' creative drive. Embracing his roots to earn a rare second round of success, a series of solo Country projects have led to two No. 1 Billboard Country Album debuts - TOWN LINE (2011) and SINNER (2016) - plus a PLATINUM collab with heroes George Jones and Charlie Daniels ("Country Boy"), and a GOLD-certified Billboard No. 1 with "Am I The Only One" in 2021. Lewis' 2022 solo album followed suit, with FRAYED AT BOTH ENDS emerging as the best-selling Country album in America, but he never wrote songs for the stats. No matter the sonic setting, Lewis writes and sings to get his truth out and his upcoming album THE HILL is no different.

Enjoyable show, but nothing special
by 2Hotty on 7/9/10Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 3 out of 5My actual rating would be 3.5 stars, but this choice was not available. I enjoyed the show, but was not blown away. On the positive, Lewis' voice was awesome. I was shocked at his range. His stage presence and setlist was OK. On the negative, his guitar playing was below average and there were numerous songs where he stopped because he forgot the words or chords. He also played several partial songs as part of his setlist. I realize that this was part of his "informal" act but I think he did it too much. I was disappointed that he didn't play Seger's "Turn the Page". I heard him play this solo with Staind and it was one of the best acoustic solo performances I've ever seen live. Definitely better than any song he played at Penn's Peak. It was worth the money, but probably will not see him next time around.
Aaron Lewis awesome again!
by Lexis1 on 7/9/10Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5I would DEFINITELY recommend going to see Aaron Lewis' accousitic show if you have the opportunity. I have seen him twice now and both times I got goose bumps from his amazing voice. Don't know anyone who can sing like he does, best voice I've ever heard.
What a voice!
by Deatrich on 7/9/10Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 4 out of 5I was amazed at the vocal ability of this guy. He has a great sense of humor and interacts with the crowd. I'm a heavy music guy (Slip Knot, Lamb of God, Five Finger death Punch, etc). I didn't think I would get into the show as much as I did. I don not regret seeing this show, he was awesome.
aaron lewis has incredible voice
by rojoh on 7/9/10Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5Penn's peak is a great venue, Aaron Lewis has an awesome voice. wish it would have been longer, only 1 1/2 hr.
fun and full of emotion
by Anonymous on 7/9/10Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5Aarons' performance was fantastic his final song was done completely unplugged no amps of any kind. He was able to control the audiance to the point of absolute silence, and performed, it was to say the least, very exciting to have this artist perform in this format. Aaron made it seem very personal, maybe one of the most memorable experiances of any show. Thank you Aaron
Aaron Lewis was Amazing!
by mudgirl33 on 7/9/10Penn's Peak - Jim ThorpeRating: 5 out of 5Loved every minute of the show. Wish it had been longer!
Aaron Lewis is great without the band
by timothy24 on 6/3/10Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 5 out of 5Played many of Stainds best loved songs as well as many songs I wasn't familiar with. He didn't play many covers like he did last time I saw him a few years ago.
Aaron Lewis Tour
by Pezz013 on 5/6/10Hardrock Live - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5Aaron Lewis is well worth seeing. His voice sounds amazing live! The best parts of his set are his jokes and comments inbetween songs. His personality and his talent definately come through in this kind of smaller venue. I would listen sing with just a guitar anyday over the big arena band shows.
I LOVE AARON LEWIS!!!!!
by raesma on 4/6/10Snoqualmie Casino-Ballroom - SnoqualmieRating: 5 out of 5My seats were amazing and Aaron Lewis was AWSOME!!! I wished he had played longer but still a great great show.
aaron lewis was disappointing
by boooooooooo on 4/6/10Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 1 out of 5I expected so much more from Aaron Lewis. I have been a fan of Staind for a long time. I have yet to see the full band in concert. I was so excited to get a chance to see the lead singer do an acoustic set. I had amazing seats and was ready for a good time. But a good time is not what I had. He told the audience he was tired of playing his songs and just wanted to do cover songs which consisted of some Kermit the Frog songs. I paid and drove many hours to hear his music. He fiddled around on his guitar for a while while smoking ciggs just trying to figure out what to play. I could think of many of songs I would have loved to hear as well as everyone else....for people were screaming like crazy songs of HIS they wanted to hear not everyone else's cover songs. It was a waste of my money and time. Because of this experience it has made me like Staind a lot less. We ended up leaving our amazing seats and standing at the bar waiting for it to end so we could enjoy the Hard Rock Casino.

It was great. It was my first time seeing him in concert. I would definitely go again.
Better than I expected
by funkbum on 4/1/10Hard Rock Live - BiloxiRating: 5 out of 5I am not a huge Staind fan, but after watching some youtube clips this seemed like a good show to see. I was right. I have a better appreciation for him now that I know the history behind him and the band. The cover songs were cool. The encore was awesome he played without the PA system.
Aaron Lewis Accoustic
