About

Aaron Lewis, the Vermont-born powerhouse first found success with Staind - the 2000s-era hard rockers who injected meditative muscle into an era better known for mindless aggression. But while that band is still very much alive, it was never enough to satisfy Lewis' creative drive. Embracing his roots to earn a rare second round of success, a series of solo Country projects have led to two No. 1 Billboard Country Album debuts - TOWN LINE (2011) and SINNER (2016) - plus a PLATINUM collab with heroes George Jones and Charlie Daniels ("Country Boy"), and a GOLD-certified Billboard No. 1 with "Am I The Only One" in 2021. Lewis' 2022 solo album followed suit, with FRAYED AT BOTH ENDS emerging as the best-selling Country album in America, but he never wrote songs for the stats. No matter the sonic setting, Lewis writes and sings to get his truth out and his upcoming album THE HILL is no different.

  • Absolutely fantastic!!!

by LetDowninMansfield on 8/15/10Pines Theater at Look Park - FlorenceRating: 5 out of 5

I bought my tickets the minute they went on sale and have been waiting all summer for this concert and it did not disappoint! Aaron Lewis was a amazing and 3 Doors Down is my favorite band. Seeing Brad Arnold sing accoustically was fantastic. All the other performers were great too. Brendan Kelley, I had not heard of before was awesome as was Lo Pro. To top it all off, 100% of the proceeds went to the charity...even the food, beer and merchandise vendors. Awesome! Every performer out there should follow the lead of Aaron Lewis and the other artisits that gave their time to be at this concert.

The pines theater was a great place to have a concert. I had never been before, but will definitely go again in the future. The concert was very well put together. Enjoyed all the performances, but Aaron was by far my favorite. He is always excellent live.

  • Aaron Lewis and Friends..Magic!

The show that Aaron Lewis and Friends put on at the Pines was simply one of them most positive and uplifting shows I have ever attended. Not only did all the proceeds go to the charity - It Takes A Community but each act delivered an outstanding set. From the opening chords of Brendan Kelley to the final notes of Intro which Aaron played with no amps or mic, the musicians mesmerized the audience with great acoustic guitars and soulful, passionate vocals. One of the highlights had to be when the lead singer from Tesla came out and sang a trio of songs with Aaron. His voice was as strong as ever. Aaron's performances of "Massachusetts" and "Country Boy" were superbly sang and he had the audience enthralled with his vocals on "Right Here". He played many fan faves as well as some covers. Shaun Morgan delivered an an incredible solo acoustic set of some Seether classics. His voice was sweet and rich. The boys from 2 Doors Down were superb. Lo-Pro and Brendan Kelly were excellent as well. The venue was small and intimate and it almost felt like you were in your living room having a sing along with these fabulous musicians. The sad part was that it had to end because i could have stayed there forever!! If anyone gets the chance to see these musicians in an acoustic setting, please do as you will not be disappointed

Great artists, great music, great venue, great weather. Loved every moment. Wished it was closer to my home but for the hour 40 minutes I traveled, it was worth every mile.

  • Best Aaron Lewis show I've seen.

by ScottV on 8/15/10Pines Theater at Look Park - FlorenceRating: 5 out of 5

My girlfriend and I go every year to his Mohegan Sun shows whether it's in the cabaret or in the arena. In my opinion, this show was much better than the arena shows and similar to the cabaret in the fact that it was a small venue. The scenery was very nice and everyone in the lineup played to perfection. We will be there every year as this was the first annual show for his foundation.

  • Hampton Beach Casino July 2010

    by MaDukes13 on 8/13/10Hampton Beach Casino - Hamptom Beach, N.H.Rating: 3 out of 5

So...this was the 5th time I have seen Aaron Lewis as a solos and at least a dozen times with STAIND. This was my least favorite show. I saw him at Hampton Beach July 2008 and it was the best I've ever seen him. He also had LoPro playing with him at that time. He played a lot of his OWN songs, not STAINDS, not covers, his own. He did not play those this time, nor did he play them when I saw him at Mohegan Sun in February this year and in February 2009. He did play alot of his own during December 2008. He is best in a much smaller venue. I think most go to see him play STAIND songs and the covers which he does do exceptionally well. At this concert he played his two newest, Vicious Circles and That's not me, and I think other than myself maybe six other people in the crowd new those songs and cheered. Those are the real fans. People... get to know Aaron Lewis for Aaron Lewis.....not just STAIND. You have no idea what you are missing. My favorite song is "anywhere but here", then "Letting Go" then "massachusetts" then "Someone like Me". His Solo list goes on and on. "Tangled" was originally his song, but he put it on STAINDS lastest album. I hope he puts out his own CD soon, I don't think anyone will be disappointed. I do agree with most that the crowd this year was out of hand making it hard to hear and enjoy the show. And, yes, the last song he played was an awesome one and definately sounds better acoustic. An Aaron Lewis for Years!!

This was the worst concert I have gone to yet. We saw Aaron Lewis at the same venue last year and sat in general admission. He was so great that all the drunks around us were not that bad. We bought $100 tickets the day they went on sale for this concert. Our seats ended up being only 3 seats away from general seating when the seating chart on-line showed us 3 tables away from the stage. The guy was also on something and messing up chords and not finishing songs. At the end, he told us he would not play until we were all quiet - I paid $100 and he can't even play a song? There were hundreds of people there - there is no way the place is going to stay quiet for someone who keeps messing up his songs. Would try to get my money back if I thought I would be successful.

I thought Lewis did an amazing job. The only bad part of the night was the crowd. He did an awesome version of Intro without a mic or an amp but people decided to sit and yell the whole time which mad him hard to hear from where we were sitting and seemed to piss him off. Hopefully he plays here again.

  • Aaron Lewis is awesome

by Auntiekaka on 7/26/10Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 4 out of 5

The only reason I didn't review this as amazing is because of the other audience members. About half way through the event people became noticeably louder probably due to alcohol consumption and it was very tough to hear the music. Otherwise, I thought the show was great.

I went to the Aaron Lewis show at the clubcasino in Hampton beach July 22 and the show rocked!! Aaron came out with all his acoustic guitars surrounding him and played a mix of music both from Staind and other artist. he sang his heart out and of course you cant forget some of his remarks as he goes along. WHAT A SHOW !!! THANKS AARON FOR MAKIN MY NIGHT!!!

  • Great Show!!

by Spldrtn4eva on 7/24/10Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom - Hampton BeachRating: 5 out of 5

I would highly recommend this show to any and all Staind fans. Aaron definitely knows how to capture an audience. He has a great voice. If you haven't seen his solo act, you really should. His voice range is amazing! The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom is a great venue to see any show.
