  • A nice experience

by Matt on 11/4/25Madison Center for the Arts - PhoenixRating: 4 out of 5

I enjoyed this concert. It was recommended by a friend, and I had never listened to any of their songs previously. The concert was my first time hearing any of their work actually. FF6 Darkworld almost brought a tear to my eye it was so beautiful. Quite a few songs played were also just incredibly beautiful, the musicians and composer did a fantastic job! That being said, I was expecting a more "classical"atmosphere, which this does not have. People were clapping and cheering every 2 songs, the conductor would stop and talk about various things after each applause, and then coax more applause out of the audience, it was quite different. Also! The whole concert maybe lasted 1.5 hours, it was surprisingly short! I think less disruptions and a longer performance would have made this a 5 star performance. If I wasn't so in love with some of their songs, it would be 3 stars.

  • A lovely experience

I absolutely adored A New World! Every song, the ambiance, the finale. All of it. The show gave me the all the feels and I loved it

  • Great show, less than great Ticketmaster experience

by Sheev on 8/28/24Town Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

The show itself was a ton of fun, but Ticketmaster sold me a seat to the venue that simply didn't exist. My seats were for Orchestra Right in a row thay does not actually exist within the venue. Originally the ushers tried moving me to a different level. Ticketmaster only moved me back two rows and to the center. Still, I don't feel great about that experience and feel like what I got was worse than what I had thought I was purchasing. Do better please.

  • Really fun but was missing one thing

    by Joe on 4/9/24Shea's 710 Theatre - BuffaloRating: 4 out of 5

The most important thing was the music and it was sooooo great! Two things I wish would happen with this performance. 1. Let the audience know the title/game each song is from before the performance. This happened about 50% of the time and the other 50% we were told after the song. 2. make use of the screen to show visuals of the games being played. I think would make it a perfect experience. Overall it was fun and I had a great time.

  • Awesome!

    by Luna on 4/8/24Shea's 710 Theatre - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

This was the first time I've gone to a live show of any sort. The experience was so good I immediately purchased tickets for the next Final Fantasy orchestra!

  • Intimate

    by Joey on 4/8/24Shea's 710 Theatre - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

A new world is, like the title suggests, intimate. It does not have the giant orchestra that distant worlds does. The stage is very close. It was a different experience but a beautiful one every final fantasy fan should go to.

  • Incredible show

It was as intimate and amazing as you could ever envision it to be. The sound is so pure and unfiltered right to your ear

  • A Magical Experience

    by ZV on 2/6/23Shea's 710 Theatre - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

When I went into this, I thought that the orchestra was going to be a large multi part ensemble with a large crowd and it was going to be something of an up tight crowd. To my surprise it was an eleven piece orchestra with a conductor, making it twelve all together, and the theater size was a lot smaller. The pieces were across almost all the games and were beautifully done. It sounded like it was more than 11 people playing the music. Between almost every two songs, the conductor would stop, talk to the crowd a little bit and then continue on. It was a magical night, one that I will not be forgetting any time soon and one that if they ever come back to Buffalo again, I will gladly visit again.

  • Authentic

    by Ron on 2/6/23Shea's 710 Theatre - BuffaloRating: 5 out of 5

By paying proper homage to both primary and spin off creator's of various pieces through out the entire breath of Final Fantasys old and current titles, they managed to take you on a journey that feels both authentic and completely fresh.

  • A wonderfully intimate experience.

I've been to only two of these experiences and they have always been so amazing. I wish I could go to more. If only they came to Buffalo more often.
