A Stroll Down Memory Lane
by HP123 on 11/16/16Bergen Performing Arts Center - EnglewoodThis wonderful one man show brought tears to my eyes for its hilarity, its poignancy, and the sweeping memories. The fond memories of visiting the Borscht Belt with my parents, my grandparents, another friends brought tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat. The Red Apple Rest that, as a child, my father told me was owned by his father because he spent so much time there was such an overwhelming moment. I called by father, now in his 80's, to tell him about the show, to reminisce about his time with his father, and our time there as three generations, the things I remembered, and the things my father remembered and got to relive during our phone call.
