Most of spoken parts of play could not be understood…sound was garbled. Poor portrayal of Neil Diamond by main actor in final Sunday night performance…very disappointing.

My wife and I enjoyed the play. It used Neil Diamonds songs in a very profound way to tell his life story. Unfortunately, we had an under study in the lead role and he just couldn't capture Neil. I understand that this was a gruelling schedule, with five performances in three days. And we saw the last performance. So I guess the lead needed a break. But this guy was like a karaoke version of Neil. The dancing and choreography was wonderful by the cast.
We loved the show. Music was obviously great. The acting performances were very good. Good times never felt so good, so good!!!
Oh my gosh- what an amazing show! Such talent all the way around: the musicians, actors, dancers, writers, all involved. I wanted to do something special for my cousin’s 75th birthday. This was perfect. (She even named her firstborn daughter Caroline in 1969, after Neil’s song.) It was a very creative way to tell his life’s story. Sad, but effective. Thank you for sharing.
Loved the music, the great songs, the great singing and dancing. The story line was exceptional.

A Beautiful Noise was SO GOOD! SO GOOD! SO GOOD! We loved everything about it….the story, the singing, the dancing, the lighting…It certainly helps that we are huge Neil Diamond fans. I laughed, I cried, and had goosebumps several times. I would recommend it anyone who wants to spend a few hours being entertained.
The story line was great, they did an excellent job. Would recommend to see if your a fan of Neil Diamond
If you love Neil Diamond as much as I do, this is a must see performance! Nick does an outstanding job and sounds just like the real Neil. Amazing and talented!
“A Beautiful Noise” in my estimation is realistic, captivating and fabulous. It engages the audience and literally drew them into the production a few times. It is serious yet up lifting. The talent of the singers, actors, writers and directors seems top notch. The lead Nick Fradiani could not have done better - he brought me back to the days of the real Neil Diamond. I feel young again!
Everything went very well. Checking in was fast with no problems. There lots of people to help you find your seat. The play it self was presented very well. Learned a lot about his life and the music was fantastic. Actors who played him really did well. Sounded almost just like him.
A Beautiful Noise is a fabulous show, one I would be thrilled to see again! The cast is so talented, singing and dancing their hearts out. Nick shines as the young Neil, and the other actor does a great job of the present Neil. It was so much fun singing along to the many songs, and very interesting getting to know Neil’s life. All in all, this is hugely entertaining as well as captivating. What a fun night! Like I said, I wish I could see it again. We’ve seen many musicals, and this is definitely one of our favorites!
Everything about the show was just awesome; the costumes, dancing, music and the story! I loved every minute of it and didn't want it to end!!
My daughter and I attended the event not knowing story was going to be brilliantly told through counseling sessions. We have attended many shows presented by Broadway Grand Rapids and we both rate A Beautiful Noise at the top of our list. The vocals were spot on, story line was utterly mesmerizing, and the memories evoked by Neil’s songs took me back. Emotions were unleashed from a prior time in my life very unexpectedly listening to many of the songs. Time enjoying every aspect of A Beautiful Noise absolutely flew by, did not want it to end. Loved it!

Beyond words-incredible, no words to describe the awesome show that was put on for our enjoyment. The energy was unmistakably beyond the moon. Whatever the tickets cost-worth every penny.
Everything about the show was great. What a wonderful way to tell a story. The performance was amazing and I would recommend this show to everyone. Definitely one to see, you will be glad you did!!
If you close your eyes, you are hearing Neil Diamond. Such a great representation!
I really enjoyed A Beautiful Noise. I wasn't aware ahead of time of the context of the play and I really liked how they did this. I only wish there would have been more songs performed. Otherwise it was great!
