Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks Tickets

This was a wonderful show and very retro, which is just what I expected! The band and the vocalists were great! Next time omit the sexual stories---they just don't go with the theme! Very unnecessary! Otherwise, please repeat the performance next year sans THAT! I would have give this a 5 star if we didn't have to listen to that part!

Very fast moving and great variety concert with supreme musicanship. Great fund and would really recommend.

An absolutely fantastic holiday show with the world's best vintage music band and a steady stream of top performers. As always, Vince and The Nighthawks are the real draw, as the final round of applause when they took their bow proved. But everyone (except Ira Glass's inappropriate off-color story told to an audience he saw had little kids) was fantastic. Molly Ryan killed it every time she took to the stage,as did the unbelievable Bria Skonberg. Her throaty vocals, superb trumpet playing and just her look were phenomenal. But Kat Edmonsøn,hot violinist Regina Carter, the crazy Xylophonics, Sofia Rei, bad boy Buster Poindexter and Pedrito Martinez were all just wonderful. Town Hall needs to run quarterly Vince Giordano events!

I was impressed by the sheer talent of everyone on stage. Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks were in top form, as were all of the performers, including two tap dancers (how often do you see them nowadays?). Garrison Keillor's monologues were hilarious. It was fun to see the musicians in the band behind him on stage laughing along with everyone else. And it was fun to see that everyone on stage was having a wonderful time. I found this show because I was looking for a chance to hear Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks. I hope this show is on every year, because I'm already looking forward to next December.

This show was so much fun that at intermission my husband said he's looking forward to seeing it again next year! It really should become an annual holiday event - and if it does, we'll be back!!!

I've been going to live music performances as far back as the Fillmore East and this was one of the more memorable shows I've ever seen. Swing orchestras may not be in style now but good music always is and this was GOOD music.

Really brought the holiday spirit in a fun way. We hope you will have this show again next year.

We loved the Gotham Holiday Show. Every act was outstanding. The only disappointment was that The Hot Sardines only did 3 numbers - they should have been on longer. Hope the show happens again next year. Merry Christmas!

What an amazing night at Town Hall. Mr. Giordano brought we New Yorkers a whole new level of holiday entertainment. i hope he will bring this idea back next year and for years to come. I would love this to be a new New York holiday tradition. What a grand array of talent...

A great show Vince, Nellie and the rest but on a great show

Everything about this tribute to Duke Ellington was wonderful. Vince Giordano's Nighthawks, playing Duke's own charts of his compositions, was exciting and virtuosic. Individual Nighthawks played the moving Ellington solos with the skill and abandon that reminded us of the original soloists from the 20's, 30's and 40's. Host Terry Teachout gave interesting and often humorous intros to the songs. We're looking forward to reading his book, "Duke." Incidentally, the hall was beautiful and the acoustics superb.
