    Fun evening of favorite music!

by Nancy on 3/21/24Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

We absolutely loved the band! They were enthusiastic, talented, and professional! It was a fun way to spend an evening on the cusp of spring! And, it helped that it was affordable for older adults in a fixed income!

It was a fantastic evening at Arkansas Univerity. The Air Force Band and the Singing Sergeants didn't disappoint. They put on a wonderful show from start to finish.

    Disappointed

    by Shell on 6/29/23

I must have missed the information about the music that was to be played. I assumed it was patriotic marching type music but they played jazz music. I really hate jazz music so I was very disappointed because I have attended prior Air Force band performances, especially since I served in the Air Force. The woman sitting in front of me kept moving left and I could not see the stage and she also had a lot to say to her friend next to her. I just closed my eyes and listened to the music but since I have no fondness of jazz, I did not enjoy the performance as well as the three people accompanying me. During the intermission we left with delight. Sorry.

    US Air Force Band Concert

by Trumpet Player on 10/23/22Pantages Theater - Tacoma

The concert was outstanding. I was totally disappointed in the lack of publicity for this concert. In the past, the military band concerts in this area have had packed houses. I looked all over the internet websites for advertisements and found nothing. I don't know who is responsible but somebody really dropped the ball on this wonderful event. The US Air Force Band and the other military bands are first class ensembles and this should have brought out a full house. As it was, the lower floor was probably only 2/3 full and no access to the upper floors. This is a real black eye for the Pantages and the arts community of Pierce County

Concert with the US Air Force Band and the Singing Sergeants

by Jim on 10/23/22Pantages Theater - Tacoma

Very enjoyable and inspiring. The music selection was great (as a retired band director I would have loved to hear Jupiter). I had a couple of private trumpet students at the concert and they said they really enjoyed the concert also. The singing was very entertaining. I'm sure you have performed the Stars and Stripes thousands of times so it is hard to make it sound exciting, but somehow I would like to hear a little more enthusiasm in the S and S. The audience always loves it - but to me it was a little dry. Otherwise a great concert.
