I am so grateful I was able to experience this weekend with my husband and friends. We had a great time and the whole experience was unforgettable. The music was great and the vibe was even better. The whole place was having a real good time.
Again, my life will NEVER be the same! These three shows were better then anything EVER!! They were a religious experience! Again!! The love that I have for these guys is indescribable! they were TIGHT!
A very special occasion that I am so lucky to be a part of!
I know in my heart of hearts, that I will never experience anything like what I saw ever again. Best show I've ever been to. Thank you, Grateful Dead. From all of us. <3
Wow! Simply put the music of The Grateful Dead is way beyond one person, this was evident over the final 5 shows. The last show at Soldier Field was a mystical moment in time as was the first in Santa Clara with the double rainbows. At times it was like the music was playing the band, so glad to have gotten on the bus so many roads ago, Thanks for the ride.
These were the shows to end all shows. Feel so grateful to have been there!
Micky Hart said at the conclusion: "The feeling you have here, take it with you and do good things with it. Help your wife, help your husband, help your kids. And remember: BE KIND." Best music, best crowd, best energy, best venue, best weather.
They're a band beyond description. Ticket master did a superb job of weeding out scalpers. Amazing seats on last minute rerelease!!!!! Thank you, for a REAL good time!
Chicago nailed it on every front. Security was perfect...venue was amazing and the music made history. Would not have changed a thing. Felt the positive energy from the first note through the last. The Grateful Dead will forever be America's band. Thank you for the amazing ride and an incredible finale. No our love will not fade away!
Fantastic send off to an american institution: The Grateful Dead!
Melt your face right off your head! Never had such a good time in my life before. Fare thee well Grateful Dead. Can't wait till Phish tour!
I went to all three shows and it was beyond amazing...It was the best weekend of my life!!!
What can you say, the Dead delivered exactly what you expected and it was awesome and a true blessing to be able to enjoy such a reunion. the ticketing process sucked for 95% for sure.
The last Grateful Dead shows ever to be played. With out a doubt the most unforgettable weekend of my entire life. The Love and Vibe that was felt in Chicago is proof that the Grateful Dead may be gone but the tradition lives on.
Great to see them one last time. Fantastic setlist and people around us made it an unforgettable experience.
I live in Fort Lauderdale and went to Chicago to see The Dead and I haven't felt this good in so long. The sound was great, the electrical show was great, the large screens were great and the people were happy. A bunch of happy people enjoying themselves without worrying about the rest of the world. I wish this feeling would stay with me forever. Thank you from someone who saw The Grateful Dead in the Meadowlands in 1978 and went to Chicago to see their final show. Thank you for the memories. Have to stop writing. Starting to tear. Love you so much.
Three nights of amazing music. The city, venue and crowd a like made this more incredible then it should have possibly been. Grateful.
Show was not to be missed. Had a great time with great people. Best fans in the world. Very Emotional moments. The Grateful Dead will be missed. So much music for so many years. Keep on Truckin'
I thought the entire event was fantastic. The music was tremendous - I thought Trey, Bruce and Jeff were great additions. The energy of the stadium and crowd was off the charts. I thought the set lists were wonderful - covered many eras. The only downside I saw was the video boards on either side of the stage. It was mostly white noise and a little oval window to see the musicians. That oval window should have been 3/4 of the video board instead of 1/4
