Tedeschi Trucks Band is a 12-piece powerhouse ensemble led by the husband/wife duo of guitarist Derek Trucks and singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, "two of the best roots rock musicians of their generation" (NPR). With their own potent original songwriting alongside an extensive canon of influences, the dynamic all-star band owns a reputation for world-class musical expression bolstered by each album and every performance.
Since forming in 2010, TTB's caravan has traveled countless miles to bring their music to audiences around the world. From sold-out multi-night residencies across America to barnstorming tours through Europe and Japan to the flagship Wheels of Soul annual summer amphitheater tour, the band's shows are an eagerly anticipated highlight of the live music calendar and "nothing short of exhilarating" (Salon). Whether on stage or in the studio, when these supremely talented artists get together, it's a musical experience of profound quality.
Listening to concert music 🎶 in N. E. FLA since 1985. So DAMN GREAT MUSIC !!! 👍🎶🙏
What a show and display of humble yet talented individuals with soul, rock and gospel on display. Space Captain as finale was the bomb. TT is my annual favorite.
The Band gets 5 Star Performance! Venue gets Three Stars. I purchased 4 VIP Tickets with back stage pass. We waited in VIP line for over an hour. We finally get in and from starting with usher to manager we were told we missed the backstage event!
The concert was incredible, and I just love the venue. Everyone who works at the St. Augustine Amphitheater is always so friendly and polite. It is my favorite venue in the Jacksonville/St. Augustine area.
Great show!!! Music was so good! Loved the solos and light show. So easy to get in and out of amphitheater.
I've been fortunate enough to go to plenty of concerts and live shows. TTB is at the top of the list for me! They put on one of the greatest shows ever! You can feel their music in your soul and it's a beautiful thing! I love TTB for life!
We have never seen this group in person, nor have we been to the St. Augustine Amphitheater, both were fantastic. This group played nonstop for almost three hours and they were well worth the price of admission.
Went to The Amp for the Tedeschi Trucks Band show this past Saturday. The show was amazing, the setlist was amazing, the performances by the entire band were amazing. This band never fails to entertain. Highlights include Susan's guitar sol during Just Won't Burn and Alecia's performance of It Ain't Fair.
Loved the concert! They showed up and showed out!! Looked like they were really enjoying it too. One of the things I love about Derrick and Susan is their showcasing of the backup singers and band members. And they never disappoint!
The band is truly humming on all cylinders Derek sounds great as maestro and Susan is soo talented. Thoroughly entertained w new & old songs, like Dreams, Little Martha and a nod to late great, Jeff Beck, with Beck’s Bolero
TTB is such an excellent group. I’m always excited for their upcoming show and can hardly explain how much I enjoy it. They played 2 1/2 hours and the whole crowd was into it. Theirs is my fave concert every year.
Honestly, it’s so strange every time we see this band our comments are always that was the best one! This certainly ranked way up there. Great venue, amazing talent from all band members, Susan was explosive on vocals and guitar and Derek, well what can you say but it’s Derek Trucks!
Amazing concert, sound was exceptional. no complaints
Have seen TTB 6 times now and this was the best of all. Had 8th row pit so that was great. But both Susan and Derek were on fire and the set list was awesome! The whole band is incredibly talented. Just an all around perfect show for me.
Tedeschi Trucks Band was amazing! Great time! , great venue!!! Will definitely see them when nearby!
This is my wife and I's 5 TT concert. We have loved them all. However, this one started out amazing, with everyone getting out of their seats and dancing. Then the music slowed down, and every band member had a solo. It seems like half the concert was someone other than Susan singing and Derek playing (well, he did accompany most of the other instrument solos). I guess if it was a "and friends"tour, then I would have been more receptive. It was the first concert of theirs; we left early, and we weren't the only ones. I still love the band and will go see them the next time they are in town, but this go-around was pretty disappointing:(
Tedeschi Trucks Band rocked the Amphitheater. It was a great concert. I loved that the band show cased their back up singers and band members. Susan Tedeschi has a voice that just brings you in and makes you feel part of concert and she is a phenomenal guitar player! Derek Trucks...OMG what a fantastic musician! The entire show was just beyond my expectations. We loved every minute of it.
An incredible night and music. TTB played over 2 and a half hours.
Just saw Tedeschi Trucks Band at the St Augustine Amphitheater. I think this was the 10th time I've seen the band. I go to lots of concerts and I feel they are hands down the best live band and this show was phenomenal. They played close to 3 hours. I also love the venue. I live in Melbourne which is about 2 1/2 hours from the venue but I have made the trip many times because I enjoy seeing shows at The Amp so much.
Tedeschi Trucks Band concert was excellent! The musicians were totally amazing as were the vocals. These days it’s almost unheard of for the band to play 2 1/2 hours + but they did and every song was fantastic. My arms hurt the next day from clapping so much! Thrilled we were able to see them!
