About

Tedeschi Trucks Band is a 12-piece powerhouse ensemble led by the husband/wife duo of guitarist Derek Trucks and singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi, "two of the best roots rock musicians of their generation" (NPR). With their own potent original songwriting alongside an extensive canon of influences, the dynamic all-star band owns a reputation for world-class musical expression bolstered by each album and every performance.

Since forming in 2010, TTB's caravan has traveled countless miles to bring their music to audiences around the world. From sold-out multi-night residencies across America to barnstorming tours through Europe and Japan to the flagship Wheels of Soul annual summer amphitheater tour, the band's shows are an eagerly anticipated highlight of the live music calendar and "nothing short of exhilarating" (Salon). Whether on stage or in the studio, when these supremely talented artists get together, it's a musical experience of profound quality.

    Disappointing

by Rainieann on 5/30/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Music overpowered vocals. Something was very off. Guitarist was great (the only talented musician on the stage). Otherwise, seemed like a gathering of too many friends for a jam session.

four of the five tour opening dates in the books one to go

by kirka on 5/28/24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

first of all the shows are fantastic. In the first four shows they've played 82 songs and only repeated 14... Which for many is a good thing that they got to see that those repeated songs. The band started The deuces wild tour back in February, Australia played at the Kennedy Center as well as the soul sand and see festival in Florida and also sat in with Chris Stapleton and Jacksonville ahead of their gig later next month as an official opener. The summer part of the deuces wild tour opened up in Portland Oregon for two shows and then up to Vancouver British Columbia first show and now back in Seattle for two shows before they head down the left coast. While in the Pacific Northwest they solidify the relationship with nugs.net Who Now has an archive of older shows and will be streaming shows next week down at the Greek. The show themselves, The musician of Derek and Susan as band leaders As the musician of all other 10 people on stage and the dozens do not only do jobs but also do set up and breakdown. I think it's five buses and two tractor trailers. So when you pay your ducats For a ticket not only are you getting a great show but you're supporting these people who bring so much happiness is so many. It's one of the most symbiotic relationships between abandon and their fans and I've ever seen. Sure The shows are full of two guitarist with different styles in Derek and Susan. Vocals handled by Susan, the keyboardist Gabe As well as three strong back up singers which Mike Mattison Takes a few vocal leads and Alicia Shakour Shows why Warren Haynes had her in his band with Mark's exceptional range adding so so much texture. The dual drummers Tyler and Isaac bring the heat of the driving force behind the rise to the crescendo of several songs. Horn Section comprised of Kibbie On Saxon flute as well as Elizabeth on trombone and Ephraim on trumpet Add so much in backing and then each one takes a solo. The light show Was there But minimal compared to Other large touring acts and the sound has been dialed in every single night and no matter where I sat. So much of what I've read online shows that this may be one of the best touring acts out there right now with something for everybody.

    Just OK for me

by Tedeschi Trucks Band on 5/28/24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

We have seen this band pretty much every time they come to town. I will probably not see them as often now, as I get annoyed by the 3-4 minute guitar solo on almost EVERY song. Just too much for me.

    Dissapointing

by JB on 5/28/24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

QE acoustics are excellent , but it’s a tough venue to mix sound in if the stage volume is to loud, which they’re sound engineer didn’t address… so you end up with a muddy mix., Susan’s along with backup vocals were lost in a middle toned muddy mix with Trucks guitar to loud, keyboards non existent and the bottom end lacking… the quieter Blues ballads provided the best sound, but the rest of the evening was lost in the loud muddy middle toned mix with the engineer trying to compensate with the volume on stage… very disappointing.

Great concert, need more interesting original composition

by Mark on 5/28/24Queen Elizabeth Theatre - Vancouver

Fantastic band with two outstanding leads but I long for them to reach out for better and more interesting original musical compositions. Unfortunately they have a large, loyal audience who are happy with the current sound.

    Ziggy Marley is so awesome!

    by Dolly on 4/30/24

Great musicians, but a very boring performance. I went to see Ziggy Marley, who was the warm up act, and stole the show, then I tried so hard to stay and watch Tedeschi (who would give their band a name that no one can remember). I'm a very accomplished musician and I left after the 5th song because there was no energy in their performance. My advice to them, if you don't want to be upstaged don't have Ziggy Marley open the show, or learn how to look like you're having fun.

    Absolutely fantastic

A three and a half hour non stop performance that will keep you standing on your feet. It was first time seeing them and it will not be our last.

12 consumate musicians at the height of their skills.

by Geezer Dave on 4/1/24DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

Absolutely one of the best concerts I have been to. Derek and Susan lead, but they give their skilled team time to shine. Never want to miss them if you get the chance. The sound was clear, but not painfully loud, and they communicate on stage with just glances. Good variety of new and old stuff, including Just Won't Burn. Outstanding!

    Magical performance

by Beachangel1960 on 3/22/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

Seeing Tedeschi Trucks at the St Augustine Amphitheater was a magical experience. They are truly one of my favorite bands and I've seen them at several different venues but this was by far the best. The acoustics were awesome...plus they played all my personal favorites. Prelude to Midnight in Harlem was unreal. Really hoping they book there again next year!!

    To loud

by Bobby G on 3/20/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

Love their songs, although the Instruments were too loud, sound guy didn’t balance the music very well. They also had too many solo instrumentals not enough of their hit songs. Many people listened from outside stadium. First time I left a concert early because it was to loud and we sat in the upper area not under covered area. Wish them continued success.

    Soul Shaking!

by Sherlane on 3/20/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

We really enjoyed the Tedeschi Trucks Band at St. Augustine Amphitheater on March 16, 2024! They are both amazing guitarists, but the rest of the band is phenomenal, too. The brass section, keyboards, percussion are all so talented individually. I loved how they featured each of the 3 background vocalists separately for their own song. They all shone! The other impressive part of the show was that they had no opening band, came on at the scheduled time and played non-stop for 3 hours. I was in tears several times during the show at the beauty of the music that truly touched my heart. Thanks so much to Susan Tedeschi and St. Augustine. The venue was well run and the crowd relaxed and fun.

    Great Show

by Jcc on 3/20/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

Tedeschi Trucks Band put on an incredible concert. Trucks, in my opinion, is the best Slide guitarist to come along since Duane Allman. But Tedeschi is an incredible musician/guitarist as well. The band was tight and each individual had their own moments to shine. Would definitely go see them again and again. On top of that, The Amp was a great venue for the band. 🎸🎼🎹🎤

What a show and display of humble yet talented individuals with soul, rock and gospel on display. Space Captain as finale was the bomb. TT is my annual favorite.
