Going bigger isn't always a good idea!!

by Bill on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Tedeski-Truks is agreat band, they just got TOO BIG!!!! You can't hear Susan's lyrics over the drums and horns. They're a MUCH BETTER group as a blues club band, NOT a large venue orchestra. We had sixth row seats and the noise was so overwhelming that you couldn't clearly hear the lyrics. Blues is about the LYRICS and the STORY!!!! However Derek and Susan are terrific!!!!!!

    Blues Family Style

by KirklandMike on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I'm 70 and was graced with catching many an Allman Brothers show. Tedeschi-Trucks reminds me of those concerts. TTB had up to 13 artists on stage playing fantastic blues songs. They all had their spotlight time and they all were having fun with and appreciating each other. Just like being invited into their living room for a jam session. Sue's voice was as strong and beautiful as ever. I was simply in heaven for two and a half hours. This was a GREAT SHOW!

    Could use improvement

by Karen on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I was excited to see the show however, I believe there was WAY too much lead guitar "rifs"and other random "rifs"which made the songs last way too long -- the concert just seemed to center around the lead guitarist verse the whole band. Additionally, it was difficult to hear Susan's voice as the music overpowered her voice.

Unable to see the stage due to standing

by Jim on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Ushers unable to or not willing to control the crowd, that is people standing up, staying standing and blocking the view throughout the performance. Unacceptable when you’re paying hundreds of dollars for great seats and it turns out you can’t see. Unacceptable.

    Transformative Experience

by Mel on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

These musicians are all individually at the top of their game. Together, they are generous and supportive of with each other, and that comes through in the way the music elevates and transforms the listeners. It’s hard to find words for this experience, where the rhythms, melodies, notes, and spaces, bring us along emotionally. Many of their songs have become part of me, where a message in the lyrics comes into my thoughts and helps me through a hard experience, or a melody lifts me up in a moment of beauty, gratitude or reflection.

    Front Row

    by 2downotto on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Tuesday night show was very good, We had the luxury of sitting front row and that gave us some insight into this solid group of musicians, Love Susan's Voice and Derek's guitar playing is unreal! the changes I would consider would be swapping the horn section with backup we couldn't see the trombone player and maybe there's a reason why that can't happen? While they gave each musician a semi solo, that wasn't afforded to the Bass player? Lastly some of the song endings were a bit rough but there is no doubt who is the Captain of the ship!. Thank you for coming to Seattle see ya again next time.

    Great Bsnd

by Dk on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Tedeschi trucks Band was great. The band was fired up and played an amazing two sets. The crowd was equally fired up. The Paramount sound mix was not up to par. I was sitting in a good seat middle of the main floor. The sound was muddy and would reach levels of distortion during intense moments in the songs. It felt over powered to me. I will go to TTB concerts again, but not at this venue. I love their music but will seek a better venue.

    Great show

They went 3 solid hours. Fun night for sure. Great venue. That backup vocalist was incredibly good

Fabulous concert, every song was a masterpiece

by Tedeschi Trucks top notch on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

TTB is hands down the best band going right now. Their precision playing along with great vocals makes each concert a special occasion. Add in the best guitarist in the world and you have one of the best groups ever to play live.

Too Much Trucks & Too Little Tedeschi

by jules on 5/31/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

That about sums it up - plus, do they not have sound engineers? Distortion from the volume being cranked too high. Maybe people follow this band for the Trucks, but I couldn't listen to one more song turn into an endless guitar solo. Disappointing for a $100 seat.

    Amazing live Band

by Dan on 5/30/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Susan’s voice is even better live. The band really put it over the top though. Derek probably had 5-10 legit solo’s, plus a dual drum solo (duo?), a couple saxophone solo’s, flute solo and just overall great music and jams. Initially disappointed there was no opening band… that doesn’t matter when the main show performs for a total of about 2.5 plus hours.

A Living, Breathing Rock and Roll Band

    by Onethebus69 on 5/30/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This band can dig so deep and go in so many directions. Oh yes, and then there is "the voice."Susan.

    Tedeschi Trucks Band - Terrific!

    by E.B.E. on 5/30/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I’ve always liked the music of the TTB but only heard their recorded stuff. Catching them live is an experience I will never forget. Every song was spectacularly performed. I get goosebumps just remembering that concert.

As long as I am able to walk and get a ticket to a TTB show I will never miss their performance. This was my 2nd time seeing them.

    Excellent show

by Nene on 5/30/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Susans vocals are always great but I particularly enjoyed the addition of songs done by the back up singers. The male back up singers were amazing. I really wish they would have given the female back up a little more time though, she only came in on the last encore song for a couple seconds but had an amazing voice.

    Almost Perfect

by Ms. Fish on 5/30/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

My husband and I were in the 4th row.... awesome seats EXCEPT two blockheads in the orchestra seats, best seats in the house!, decided they also needed to stand the entire time so that a BUNCH of us had a hard time seeing the center of the stage and all our pictures and videos included the backs of their heads! Several people asked them to please sit but they ignored all requests. So annoying! ... Three things about the concert itself. 1. Some of the guitar solos were just too long and started to all sound the same. 2. The drum solo was too long and actually, kind of boring. Nothing real special. 3. The sax solo.. I don't even know what that was about. Did not fit at all with the rest of the concert and sounded like he was just playing random notes. Could have totally done without that. Overall, they are amazing, of course. Music was wonderful, vocals top notch! Thanks!

    Not their best

by Meh on 5/30/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Sax solos were too often, too long It's a work night for most people, and they have a 30 minute intermission not even an hour in? The Stones are 80, played 2-1/2 hours and NO intermission. They sounded fantastic as usual though

A memorable night - highly recommend this group

    by Georsk01 on 5/30/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

The band played for a total of 2 hours & 20 minutes. Wow, what a great show. They were able to showcase each individual member of the band ... a testament to the incredible musicianship of all the band members. Susan's voice and Derek's guitar mastery are truly amazing.... This is a concert I would attend again ... over and over. Finally, the Paramount theater venue was amazing. The acoustics are outstanding. And the sound system/mixing was perfect. Thank you Tedeschi Trucks Band.
