SHOWGIRLS LIVE!This Mardi Gras Festival the cult classic film Showgirls will explode on to the stage of the State Theatre in an world premiere event.
For one night only Las Vegas comes to town for a trashy kitsch extravaganza. The sumptuous art deco State Theatre is transformed into a decadent Vegas casino, evoking the atmosphere of the city that throws class, sleaze, bling and excess in one dice.
Adding to the excitement and glamour the theatre becomes the Show Room of The Stardust Casino, the venue for the spectacular ‘Goddess' show. As the dazzling Cristal Connors rises from an erupting volcano on screen our hot dancers will perform the famous choreography live. Our dancers will also be there as Nomi and Cristal battle it out on screen in their bondage routine and God help us if they slip and fall on any marbles!
Sydney's premier showgirls Mitzi Macintosh and Penny Tration will have you in stitches with their live commentary, taking the film to new heights of camp.
