I spent a little more than I wanted to have an up close and personal experience with my dad and my son. Overall Great experience! We were right next to the home team dug out. Had a great view of the game, players in the dugout. One of the players even handed a ball to my son as a souvenir.
The Sacramento River Cats have a good looking and and well run facility. But the main scoreboard SUCKED the night I was there (July 3rd). Way more often than not, the wrong player was featured. Many times the same player would be shown for most of the inning. Like I said, other than that things were fine and the fireworks were great. I would have given five stars if it wasn’t for the operation of the main scoreboard. Hopefully, that was just a one day glitch!
This is a great family experience. The park is well kept up and the play is professional level, but the crowd is small and polite. The restrooms are clean with plenty of stalls. The snacks are fun and varied. We will definitely come again.
Ball park was very nice, and the game was good with fireworks after. My complaint was the AYCE BBQ. They say it's served from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, and you can come and go as you please , Fine, right? Well, they had no idea how many tickets they sold as they were running out of food BEFORE 6:00pm. WHAT? Yeah, won't do that again
Easy access to Ticketmaster the event was good had a lot of fun weather was nice overall and excellent day.
We love the River Cats and usually love the Solon Club. But there was no food service upstairs in the Solon Club area on Sunday, July 3rd. We had to wait in very long lines 30min-1 hour for any kind of food at the ballpark that evening. When you spend $45 for an elevated experience at the ballpark then miss 1/3 of the game waiting in food lines, that's a problem!
We watched a good game, ate really good food and saw a cool fireworks show! We will be going more often!
Parking and entry to park a breeze plenty of folk there to answer question and direct us to our seats. All smiles on our part.
Venue and game was excellent. Only downfall was the food. It was terrible. I spent a ton of money and it was all bad. Very disappointed
My home town team - so enjoyable, especially on a Sunday afternoon. We ate hot dogs , peanuts and Cracker Jacks. This is what life is about - so simple, basic, and fun.
We sat on the lawn in home run alley. Great view. Our grandkids got to play at the little kids park and they had a great time. My grandson was given a ball by one of the chihuahua’s players. Made his day! The people that work there were all very nice. The Cats won!!! We had a great time.
Love this ball park foods not terrible very clean within walking distance to the Sacramento River and then I street bridge. Great back drop of the Sacramento high rises
Nice seats, close to the action, Staff was very cordial and helpful. Top of the class experience with the Sacramento Rivercats. Always is!!!
The Sacramento Rivercats games are a good time. How the stadium is built puts you in the shade in evening games which is nice. The only complaint I have is there needs to be a better seat map. I purchased tickets in the dugout club seating. Section D, Row 1, Seat 1-4. There is no seat numbering on any maps but you would assume a row would start with seat 1. The row started with seat 16, putting seat 1 in the middle of a 32 seat row. Seats were still ok but not what I was expecting. Still a good time.
I’m travelling from Australia, love my baseball and love a beer. Sadly it was a minimum of $15usd for a beer, I spent $90 on 6 beers. Now that’s crazy!! I don’t know how people can afford these prices. Especially for a triple A game. Besides the price of beer I had a great time!
I've been looking for a good Hamburger/Cheese burger, can't find them at Sutter Health Park. The River Cats need to show more effort, when they take the field!
It was very challenging to transfer parking and shooting tickets for the River cats game. We do this routinely for the 49ers and it is seamless. The transfer process did not work for either seating or parking. I ended up paying for parking despite having prepaid for a Ticketmaster parking pass. Go as a group and don’t transfer tickets.
I got very great seats for a great price along the third base line. Very close to the baseball field. Staff are very friendly and attentive making sure we're safe during the game. I love coming to theses games when I can and I look forward to the next time.
Really good food and fireworks / I been going since 2010
