    Not Quite Teady

by Tacosaurus on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Enjoyed the game, loved seeing the Giants in Sac. Rivercats need to up their concession game. Way too many 30 minute lines. Cold Hot Dogs. No Mustard in the dispensers. Same thing happened Opening Day last year. Do Better!

Cold food, long lines, not enough staff

by Lewis on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

We arrived early, about 3:45. We asked where handicap parking was and parking staff did not know where and they didn't seem to have any idea what their purpose was? We waited an hour to get a (COLD) hot dog and a HALF-FILLED french fries container. When i mentioned the half-full container, he said, "well that's how they're filling it."Yeah, thanks for the assistance. Went for condiments and the ketchup and mustard was empty! Part of the experience of a live game is the (EXPENSIVE) food but that was totally ruined for us. IF we ever go to a game at that park, you can bet we will eat first!!

    So disappointed

by Chris on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

There was not nearly enough parking! Cars were stuck in streets with dead ends. Plenty of vacant lots but people were not allowed to park in them. The lines for food were so long that people missed several innings of baseball, which is what we came to see. I had to go home hungry and very thirsty. I would not recommend!

Nice venue but not capable of managing a sell out

by Bill on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Great field, good baseball, but way too crowded. Lines for concessions were up to a 30 minute wait. They should sell to a manageable crowd size.

    Expensive Amenities

by Karen M. on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Game was enjoyable. PARKING MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE. FOOD TOO EXPENSIVE. Vendors not prepared for a sold out game - ran out of hotdogs. Too much time wasted in different vendor lines to get the different food item choices.

    Concession line agony

by Swimmath on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Standing in line for 1hour 15 minutes with no t v monitors to watch the game is agony. People on line together became life long friends. Everyone patient thank goodness.

Great venue; not prepared for large crowd

by Giants/River Cats Fan on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Sutter Health Park is a great baseball venue, but was ill-equipped and ill-prepared to handle the sellout crowd for Giants vs. River Cats. Hot dogs were cold and lines were unbearably long and slow. Kudos for requiring plastic for payment, but still not enough to make things move better.

    Way overcrowded

by RJ on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

They oversold the game. Every single line to get food was 30 to 45 minutes long, hundreds and hundreds of people at every entry gate at any given point in time. Such a frustrating experience. They even ran out of food at many kiosks.

    SacTown Showed Out!

by Play Ball! on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Awesome day at the ballpark. Even with the huge crowd, lines were manageable. Great job!

    Long wait for food

by HungryHippo on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Stadium was not ready for large crowds at game. Wait times for food were 30-40 minutes. Long lines everywhere!

    Audio Sound/Speakers

by Kelly on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

The announcements were very hard to understand. The concession stand lines were super long and when arrived at the register we wanted a Dinger Dog which was on the advertised menu and they said they were not selling them on that day.

    Mixed feelings

by jazzbeauxm on 3/27/24Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

There was little opportunity to get food and drink at this overcrowded River Cats v. Giants game. Most of the food and drink lines had anywhere from 25-50 people lined up waiting Several vendors ran out of food before many people had an opportunity to purchase food. Finding water was difficult as well. Simply finding your way to the bathroom was an adventure. The baseball contest between River Cats and Giants was good, though we missed much of it looking for food and drink.

    Friendly relaxing ecconomical

by Great Fun and Baseball on 9/20/23Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

Great park where EVERYONE is friendly and fun to talk to. Food is good and the prices are Fair inside the park. Parking at $15 is a little high but it is California. Very close to Old Sacramento with lots of shopping, restaurants, and a railroad museum, perfect for a pregame visit. Great place, great fun, and baseball to boot!

    Wholesome Night at the Ballpark

by Larry S. on 9/20/23Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

One of the many "pleasures of life": An evening at the baseball park. Yes, the food and drinks are expensive. But, sitting in the grand stands next to the 3rd base line near home plate doesn't "break the bank." Just about anything you would wish to eat/drink is available. Bonus is when the RiverCats win the game too! Wonderful time!

    Always fun at the game

by EaSantosSacto on 9/19/23Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

    Good fun but expensive

by Ma and Pa Smith on 9/18/23Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

We had fun watching the River Cats play. The fireworks show after the game was nice. You can’t bring food or water into the stadium and we felt the prices for the food were a bit high. $5.95 for a small, individual bag of Sea Salt Kettle Chips. All of the stadium staff were nice and most of the spectators were on their best baseball behavior.

    Game Experience

by Mac Ray on 9/6/23Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

The game wasn't packed but that's kind of how I like it. I was hosting a buddy from out of town and he really enjoyed the ballpark and the amenities.

    Food and a Ballgame

by T-Bone on 9/6/23Sutter Health Park - West Sacramento

We had tickets to see the River Cats. Included (for extra $)was an "All You Can Eat"BBQ. We came early and went to the Smokehouse. The food included chicken, Tri Tip, Mac and Cheese, Salad, Potato Salad and a choice of drinks. The food was not extravagant, but was very good and we chose water to drink. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Our friends arrived a little later and we finished eating and chatted with them. When we finished our meal, we went to our seats, which were in the second row from the top. In a major league park, that would have put us far away from the action. In the River Cats stadium, these seats were close and had a super view of the whole stadium and downtown Sacramento beyond. The weather was great and we enjoyed a fantastic game. We will go again!
