RICK SPRINGFIELD IN CONCERT:
Rock superstar Rick Springfield has been wooing audiences with his polished voice and leading-man looks ever since his rise to fame in the early '70s. More than four decades later, he looks and sounds as good as ever, treating fans to an unforgettable evening of solo performance and storytelling on his Stripped Down tour. Taking time between each song to relay the touching and humorous stories that inspired them, Springfield has proven that his talents as an entertainer extend well beyond his musical abilities. Whether fans catch him solo or performing with a full band, they can count on plenty of showmanship and charisma as he works his way through nostalgic hits like "Jesse's Girl" and "Don't Talk to Strangers."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Australian-born Rick Springfield began playing the guitar at age 13, cutting his teeth in several bands in England after his army officer father relocated the family there in 1958. After a stint fronting the British band Zoot in the late '60s, Springfield launched his solo career in 1971 with debut single "Speak to the Sky," a Top 10 hit in his native Australia. After releasing several moderately successful albums in the '70s, Springfield hit his stride in 1981 with Working Class Dog, a massive success propelled by the No. 1 hit "Jesse's Girl." 1982's My Success Hasn't Spoiled Yet fared similarly, landing at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and spawning several more hit singles. A veteran showman with four decades of touring under his belt, Springfield returns to the road once again for a string of highly anticipated tour dates.

Rick Springfield is always great! He loves his fans and it shows. This was the first time I've seen Richard Marx and he was very entertaining as well. Rick had hurt his wrists so wasn't supposed to play guitar (but actually did anyway). I feel Richard Marx carried a lot of that weight since Rick wasn't able to play so much. This venue needs to light the steps a little bit.

Rick Springfield and Richard Marx transported me back to my teenage years!!! They sounded amazing and looked just as hot as they did all those years ago. Their banter with each other was so funny and natural. Seeing both of them was a dream come true. An absolute pleasure to see them both together. An early birthday present for myself and it was so well worth it!!
Rick had a good concert even though his wrists were injured
Rick Springfield and Richard Marx put on one heck of a show. I took my wife expecting it to be a show geared totally toward the women. That was far from the reality. They really interacted with the audience and some interactions like guys do at the golf course or the barber shop.
Rick Springfield was awesome. We enjoyed the concert. I think it's awesome he can still perform like that at 74, and he was playing with a broken wrist, impressive!!
I love that they are truly friends. Sharing the stage together for an intimate concert with stories, jokes, and just positive vibes the entire evening
I saw him a couple of times in the 80âs and wow, heâs still got it!! An amazing show and to brave the audience like that (granted, we are older and more mature), that young girl excitement was still very real. He looks and sounds fabulous even at 74!
38 Special superb. Rick Springfield was great. You would never know heâs 74 y/o. He was awesome. Concert started on time which is always appreciated by a fan like me. Adequate parking was available. Easy access in gates with my downloaded ticket information on my phone to scan at gates. Convenient access to rest rooms, concession stands for foods and drinks, and memorabilia purchases. Security seen around venue. Staff available to help u find your seat. Leaving after concert was not bad either. Only problem smokers. People shouldnât be allowed to smoke next to you while seated. Make them go to smoking area. As a non smoker, I donât want to be subjected to that at all.
