I was disappointed by how short the set times were. Doja Cat and Black Eyed Peas each had 20 minutes. All of Doja’s songs were cut short. I would recommend Poptopia if you want to see a bunch of artists at once and if you’re okay with each set being 15-20 min long, but I would not recommend it if you only want to see 1-2 specific artists.
SAP did a fine job with entrance organiztion. They were efficient and got the line moving. However, the concert it self was horrible. The sound was so loud that it rattled our seat. The performers were not as enthusiastic. The mic sounds muffled and the stage was unempressive. I can't believe with all the sound equipments and amount of people running them, it sounded like that! I think they should have done a better sound check or maybe they were all deaf. Sorry 99.7, but you need to hire experienced sound crew.
Doja Cat was the only one I went to see and she did not disappoint. Amazing performance. I was a bit excited for Saweetie but she sucked so bad. She had no energy at all! It’s like she didn’t want to be there. Even some of the other newer artist had more energy than her.
The sound engineering was terrible, couldn't hear vocals and the bass levels were physically nauseating. There was zero mask enforcement. Total disappointment.
Everyone was great. Can’t wait to go again. I had a good time.
the show had some great vibes and the DJ really knew some hits that resonated with people - the artists themselves were great and performed well, some room for improvement would’ve been maybe coordinating the artists better because everyone left after Doja and i feel that’s unfair to the other artists there
Great show. But people thought it was over after Doja Cat - and a lot left before Kid Laroi came on. Parking and entry lines were easy. No merchandise though - that was a bummer. Overall great line up!!
I was really looking forward to this event. The last one was great. This was a huge disappointment. The artists were singing to their tracks the whole time. At one point one of their Mics stopped working and it didn’t even matter. Doja and Black Eyed Peas should have been given more time. Kid L closed and half the audience left before he go on stage. This concert had potential to be really good. Disappointed
From all the artists to the DJ in between acts, Poptopia was flawless. Cant wait to go again.
Poptopia was an awesome event! It was great to have all these great music artists all in one place!
