About

English singer/songwriter Olly Murs’ world changed in 2009 when he performed a compelling rendition of Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition,” stunning “The X Factor” U.K. judge Simon Cowell. Though he ended the season’s sixth series as the runner-up, Murs was just beginning a rocketing music career, which now includes a record deal with Epic Records in the U.K. and Columbia Records stateside. 

 

From the beginning, the 20-something pop crooner has collaborated with some of the genre’s biggest tickets. His 2010 eponymous debut features a track co-written with Ed Sheeran, while a more recent album — 2012’s “Right Place Right Time” — includes special guest Flo Rida on the contagious “Troublemaker.” Murs, who’s vocally reminiscent of Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, has a malleable handle on the genre, moving from the pop-soul of “Troublemaker” to conjuring up memories of ’50s rock and roll with his single “Dance With Me Tonight.”

 

On the tour circuit, Murs has not only supported Robbie Williams and One Direction on massive runs, but he’s also headlined his own arena concerts across the U.K.

    Olly was absolutely AMAZING!

    The show was absolutely incredible and was at the perfect venue. The crowd was upbeat, fun, and Olly kept everyone entertained. The opening act (Before You exit) was fun and got the crowds energy up. When Olly came out the night really turned into a perfect experience. From his sexy dance moves, to his jokes about X-Factor UK, it was all a blast. He didn't stop once and played a huge set list. Honestly, I couldn't even think of a song he didn't play. Absolutely must see show!

    I had a great time at the olly murs concert . nice people ,good drinks and of couse olly as amazing live all in all I had a great time and I definitely will be going back in fact I am going back on Thursday I'm taking my sister to see Aaron carter at the same venue I saw olly at cant wait

    Everything from his wonderful vocals to awesome grandpa dance moves- he was incredible. The show was fun and interactive and he did an amazing job performing. I would see another show in a heartbeat. Definitely recommended- fan or not. You'll have a blast jumping and singing with the crowd! Will be posting videos on YouTube account samanthaaxleigh

    My two friends and I went to the Olly Murs concert on 5/7/13. This was one of my favorite concerts I have attended to date. We had seen Olly when he was on tour with One Direction, which was how we found out about him! Such a wonderful stage performer, and really loves interacting with the crowd! Nothing bad to say about Mr. Murs, because he is perfect!! (:

    I took my daughter to this show..and could not have been more pleased!!! The ENTIRE SHOW WAS AWESOME AND PACKED WITH ENERGY!! .I would definately travel to see this show again!! And THE HOUSE OF BLUES WAS AMAZING in maintaing a safe enviroment for our young adults to enjoy a CONCERT with such an UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL LEVEL!!! KUDOS TO ALL ENVOLVED!! JOB WELL DONE!!

    A Wonderful Show!

    Olly was amazing! He had great energy and you could tell he was just living it up the entire time. He recognized the whole crowd and just had a blast with it. He was dancing and laughing and just loving it all. He was pretty sexual throughout, so I wouldn't recommend to anyone under 18(there were young girls about 8-10 and some 14 year olds). Especially since Olly is a lot older, it just didn't seem appropriate for them to be there. But, over all, it was fabulous and I enjoyed it a lot. The opening act, Before You Exit, was wonderful, too. They had great energy and their voices were pretty angelic, not gonna lie. I would love to see Olly again, definitely a night to remember.

    I took my 13 year old daughter. She loves Olly Murs. I really didn't know what to expect. I was pleasently surprised by his energy, music, and audience interaction. He is a really great entertainer. After his concert he has a new fan.
