    SO good!

    by A63Nicolle on 5/20/24Kodak Center - Rochester

My husband and I went to see Mike Birbiglia as our 10 year anniversary gift to ourselves. What a great gift!! We laughed so hard, and we had such an amazing night. We don’t often go out to shows, and this was sooooo worth it! We’re already wondering if he’ll do another show in Rochester some day, and if he does, we’ll definitely attend!!

A great evening with Mike Bibiglia

Mike is an awesome storyteller with an insight into the human condition that is uncommon, even amongst the top tier comedians.

    Great but abrupt end

by ElleDubbya on 4/30/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Made me wonder what the show was forming itself to be before January. I say that because he made an emotional pull at the end with touching his father after the stroke, which was touching… but by that time I totes forgot the previous scene he had in the show with his father (pretzels I think?) thus it didn’t hit as well as I thought it could. true, maybe my short term memory is still shot, but the summing up at the end and “what I’m teaching Oona… kindness, lights out” … it didn’t seem done or complete. I’d say the next time he comes back to Chicago, he could work it at The Den because intimacy might help make it more solid? Oh, and while the show title could be whatever and even just a placeholder for whatever the show finally becomes at fruition… I don’t get the “please stop the ride”.

    Wholesome and Hilarious

by MD on 4/30/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

Mike was on point and hilarious. He kept an enjoyable pace and mixed anecdotes with jokes expertly. It was a great night out. We don’t get out much. I’m very pleased we did for this performance.

All the right feels...great balance of realism, hilarity and perspective! Mike is delightful. And Gary Simon, the opener, was awesome too!

    Funny as always

by MaryH on 4/30/24The Chicago Theatre - Chicago

I've seen or hear everything Mike's ever done, probably twice! So my bar is set very high. This was not one of my favorite performances-- it might be because we were in the back of the orchestra. The part none of us liked was how he ended it-- came out of nowhere. Will be interesting to stream it later and see how it evolves, if it becomes a special.
