MAD CADDIES IN CONCERT:
California ska punk band Mad Caddies came of age during the mid-'90s ska revival precipitated by bands like The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Rancid. Blending the jaunty, upbeat-heavy rhythms of ska and the oi! sensibility of punk, the Caddies live shows are a frenetic affair characterized by mosh pits and plenty of skanking. With a new album in the works for 2014, the Caddies are once again on the road, treating rude boys and rude girls around the country to adrenalin-filled sets of old and new material.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Solvang, California, in the mid-'90s, the members of the Mad Caddies performed at their high school and at regional venues throughout Southern California before signing to Honest Don's Records for 1997 debut full-length Quality Soft Core. The band's tight playing on the album and catchy songs like "Distress" attracted the attention of NOFX's Fat Mike, who signed the Caddies to his Fat Wreck Chords imprint for their 1998 sophomore album Duck and Cover. Over the course of five studio albums and several international tours, the band has amassed a loyal fanbase that will be out in full force at their 2014 tour dates.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Such a great show! ...it was a non-stop ska fest!"
"When the Mad Caddies went on the crowd was at a fever pitch. They played a good mix of old and new and rocked the house for a good hour and a half. LONG LIVE THE MAD CADDIES!"

Mad caddies played an amazing setlist. They sounded great and even gave me the VIP experience!!
As usual the Mad Caddies killed it! We even got an appearance from Fat Mike of NoFX! Great Night!!!!!!
The turnout was smaller than expected but Mad Caddies sounded exactly like their CD's. The only complaint I would have is that they didn't play all the music requests.
The mad caddies are one of the best bands I've ever seen live and I've seen a bunch. This was my 7th or so time seeing em and it was great if you ever get a chance to check them out then you must.
Mad Caddies were absolutely brilliant! Too bad not a bigger crowd showed up, because these guys are amazing.
Such a great show! All the bands had so much energy so it was a non-stop ska fest!
the night started slowly but the A ok's were able to get a dull crowd with there fun antics. after a 45 min set the gave the stage to the john stones a bunch of crazy Canadian boys in thermal underwear who enjoyed spitting on each other. They were energetic an hyper. When the mad caddies when on the crowd was at a fevered pitch. a times the pit got quite rough my split chin can attest to that. they played a good mix of old and new and rocked the house for a good hour and a half. LONG LIVE THE MAD CADDIES!!!!!!!
