About

Kid Cudi, born Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi, is a Grammy-winning hip-hop artist, producer and actor. The Cleveland, Ohio native released his influential debut mixtape A Kid Named Cudi in 2008, led by his breakout single “Day 'n' Nite,” which reached No. 3 on the Hot 100 and has gone on to receive eight RIAA platinum certifications. The single was re-issued ahead of Cudi’s 2009 debut album Man on the Moon: The End of Day, kicking off a streak of five consecutive Top 5 releases on the Billboard 200, including 2010’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager and 2013’s Indicud. With 2020’s Man on the Moon III: The Chosen, Cudi tied his career-peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and earned his fourth No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In 2023, Kid Cudi co-created and starred in the Emmy-winning animated special Entergalactic, and in 2024 he unveiled his ninth and tenth albums, Insano and Insano (Nitro Mega), released just over one month apart.

The venue staff was very helpful. The seats had a great view of the stage. And the stage design was also great. Kid Cudi is such a great performer and his openers also

Thoroughly enjoyed this show. I have been a huge Kid Cudi fan since 2010. His set was a great mix of his newer stuff and his classics. I hope he keeps performing for many years his energy was great.

    Amazing Time

by Monee' on 9/19/22United Center - Chicago

I had an amazing experience! The seats everywhere were nice, especially in those moments in between performers. I also could actually feel the AC during the show, which was incredible because the venue was packed! I also loved the easy access to all the concession stands/bars, made for short line times.

Cudi was great, the sound engineering sucked

by Zack on 9/19/22United Center - Chicago

He was great as usual. The sound was muffled and couldn’t hear what he was even singing. We got the vibes from Cudi though. Next time please work on the sound engineering for shows that important and big. Expensive tickets should mean good quality sound.

It wasn't a concert, it was a life an experience

by Murt on 9/19/22United Center - Chicago

It was incredible. I had dreamed about seeing Kid Cudi for years, and made it one of my bucketlist goals to see him perform live. I was in heaven, and everyone else there was too. Met some great friends and bought overpriced merch. The venue could use some revamping of their food & drink prices... $14 for a seltzer? Come on. Figure it out, and make the venue more attractive for potential new fans.

Kid Cudi never ceases to amaze me

by Kaytay on 9/19/22United Center - Chicago

Honestly, I am a HUGE Kid Cudi fan. Have been since Day & Nite. He exceeded my expectations and put on an amazing show. I liked Strick but didn’t care for 070 Shake. There were some delays in the show due to technical difficultit’s, but never the less, awesome show. I drove 7+ hours to go see him in Chicago. Love him always!

Scott is back. Great show. 070 shake set the tone and even with delays, the show was still a great vibe

Smoothest concert I’ve been to in a long time!

by Lexi on 9/19/22United Center - Chicago

Was also my first indoor concert post pandemic restrictions! It was quick getting my ticket scanned and getting into the building. Security and staff were all kind. Drinks were reasonably priced. I can’t say one bad thing about the event. Bring Cudi back to Chicago a few times a year and I’d buy tickets!

Love Kid Cudi, but this concert was mediocre experience

by Jay L. on 9/19/22United Center - Chicago

Chicago showed up and showed Kid Cudi love. I know I did. He's one of the artists of our generation and his longevity is a testament to his influence on music and fans everywhere. However, this show was not great. Immediately after 1 song there were technically difficulties which was immediately heard during the opening song. There was a delay and after about 5 minutes, his microphone is powered back on and he continued the show.. with the issues still persisting. Myself and others commented that the audio mix was not good, in that his vocals were hard to hear. I had to really focus on whether or not he was singing b/c we could not hear the words to his second song (Tequila Shots). Performance was super low energy (not the crowd though) despite saying phrases like "now that we're done raging, let's kick back and chill for a second" Like what? Out of the last 4 songs you did, 3 of them were slower, bpm, energy tracks. I love Cudi, but this show was not it.
