Comedian Kathleen Madigan's 33-year comedy career is showing no signs of slowing down as she currently on her all-new tour, Boxed Wine & Tiny Banjos in 2023. Madigan has been touring 250 nights a year on the road and has risen from performing in comedy clubs to performing in marquee theaters with sold-out shows.
Madigan has squeezed in over 40 appearances on late night talk shows and multiple comedy specials airing on Netflix, Comedy Central and HBO. She has also appeared on Jerry Seinfeld's popular Netflix series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and hosts her popular weekly podcast, Madigan's Pubcast, which currently has over 4 million downloads on all streaming outlets.
Her most recent special Bothering Jesus is her fifth hour long stand-up special and third special to be available on NETFLIX. Her highly anticipated sixth stand-up special, Hunting Bigfoot that will premiere world-wide on February 21st, 2023 as an Amazon Original. The brand-new special, recorded at The Paramount Theater in Denver, CO explores topics including Madigan's aging parents, interactions with millennials, and hunting bigfoot.
Kathleen's album of the Bothering Jesus special, was the highest selling comedy album and most played comedy album on streaming services since 2014.
Madigan has performed internationally at festivals in theaters in Ireland, England, Hong Kong, Australia and has filmed seven Montreal Gala Shows at the Just For Laugh's Comedy Festival for CBC TV.

Madigan originally hails from St. Louis, Missouri.
We so loved Kathleen Madigan’s performance! She really touches on so many every day subjects that resonates with everyone. I loved how she poked fun at all the well known politicians without being offensive. As a catholic school kid myself, her jokes about that subject are my favorites. It just seems that whatever comes out of her mouth is funny. We were in stitches all night.
The show was great. She is an awesome comedian. The venue fell way short. From delays in scanning tickets to more delays in scanning for the lounge access and long bar line with one bartender makes me doubt I’ll ever buy the extra packages again. But I will see her again!

This was such a great experience, she was on time and had such a great vibe with the crowd. This was my first time and definitely is not going to be my last.
Kathleen’s show was fantastic. She effortlessly moved from one timely topic to another. She left us wishing we could grab a drink with her and hear her stories all night.
I have been wanting to see Kathleen for years and finally the dates and location lined up. She did not disappoint.. non stop laughing. Took my elderly parents and daughter we all had an amazing time.. to top it off Angeles stadium had a drone show as we were leaving.
Kathleen was great, a bit worried about show because this was first one after her father passed away a couple of weeks ago but she's a trouper, did not disappoint, so glad to see her a little closer to the Los Angeles area. Can't wait to see her again!
Ms. Madigan is always on top of her game. We've seen her several times and can't wait to see her again and again. She's polished in the way she delivers her material and has this cute giggle when she delivers the punch line. My only regret is that she doesn't come to the Southland often enough. She's what I call Five Star Entertainment!!!!!!!
I had never seen her in person before but watched all of co edu special’s. She has an Interesting point of view on life and a lot of things she talks about I have same point of view. The friend I took to the show had never seen her before and after the show she said her face hurt from laughing so much😹😹😹. Great show.
This mediocre star rating is not for Kathleen or her opening act. Both were hilarious and very entertaining. We have seen Kathleen in the past and always loved her shows. The venue, however, is much to be desired. First we received an email (so did a lot of others) that doors were are 6pm. A same day email sent around 10:45am changed the doors opening to 7pm. There were a lot of people waiting in their cars. Second, we were in the lounge area. The bar there was missing items and they had to go to the main bar to get them. The lines for this bar and for food where very long. The food was barely edible (the sliders). Food choices were boxed salads/ boxed charcuterie, sliders, or nachos. Finally, there was the parking. Although there was ample parking, getting out was horrible as they there is like one exit out. It is for one car at time to go through the only exit. This venue has been around for long time and seems each time we have gone there it has gotten worse.
Kathleen Madigan is pee-your-pants funny! New material each time I’ve seen her and I love the way she laughs along with her audience. My favorite stand-up without question. Thank you for coming to California!
We love Kathleen Madigan! It's our 4th time seeing her! The opening comic wasn't horrible, but not fantastic! We have always enjoyed the venue...Anaheim The Grove...but for some reason this time, the chairs were narrow and way too close...very uncomfortable...it was distracting. Kathleen will always be great and I'm sure we will see her again!
Potluck party is her best yet. Haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. 👍 👍👍👍👍
Saw 2023’s Boxed Wine & Tiny Banjos show and 2024’s Pot Luck Party show. There were SOME new jokes but basically it was the same show. In my opinion, if you’re going to give a tour a new name, the majority of the material should be new. Watch her “Bigfoot” special - you’ll see what I saw and paid for 2 years running. She was still funny but more new material was needed.
Kathleen Madigan is incredibly funny. She thinks as you do and packages those thoughts in a way that hits home with the average person. I will see her again. Outstanding!!!
The venue was excellent and Kathleen was hilarious.
Had a great time as usual at clues hall the opening app.I believe mike somerville was suitably funny and a good warm up. Kathleen Madigan delivered as usual, the voice of a generation. The credit room in the basement with the dance. The setup and DJ with bar was terrific. I had no idea that this existed and will be looking for it at every event from now on, great idea!
Kathleen Madigan never disappoints. Constant laughs throughout the show. Thoroughly recommend it.
Really enjoyed Clowes Hall, very quick entry, very helpful assistants. Kathleen was very funny! Really enjoyed her comedy show! Definitely will go see her again!
