Fantastic as always. Great entertainer, educator and man

by Kathy on 1/30/20The Wilbur - Boston

Honored to be in the presence of this exceptional man. I learn something everytime. And everytime I see him I am even more inspired to do the work I do with cats in need.

    Excellent show but uncomfortable seats

by Pillsy on 1/29/20Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

We loved the show: Jackson Galaxy was awesome. But the Bergen Performing Arts Center really needs a major face lift. The seats are horribly out of date, uncomfortable, small -- and we are average sized people, and one seat even had broken springs.

    A new side

by B. on 1/29/20Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

Jackson was great. Saw a new side of him - singer, songwriter, comedian, and entertainer. He let us into his life and learned how he got into cats and his theories. I brought a friend who hates cats and she has a new understanding and less hatred and fear of them!

    Wonderful Evening

    by London1027 on 1/20/20Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Jackson Galaxy is the kind of person it would be lovely to sit down over coffee with. He is funny, and articulate, and so knowledgeable about cats. It was well worth the drive in a snowstorm to see him live.

LIGHT ENTERTAINMENT FOR SOME CRAZY CAT LOVERS :)

by PamD on 1/20/20Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Last Friday evening, the Hubby and I had tickets to see: Jackson Galaxy, Host of "My Cat From Hell" at the Genesee Theater in Waukegan. 😻🙀👏 Many of you may know him, Jackson is a Musician who connects with Cats with behavioral issues. He goes around visiting Owners & Cats in their Homes with a guitar case 🎸 packed with Cat toys 🙅‍♀️🤷‍♂️. He observes the Cats & Owners and then provides solutions to having a Cat Happy Home! 😻 Jackson's Show has come to an end but, you can still watch his Videos on YouTube. So, we drove to the Genesee Theater last Friday during that horrible snow storm, no plowing had been completed, super bad. ❄️❄️❄️ Jackson did a little singing, and gave a basic presentation on Caring for Cats and how he actually became "The Cat Confidant". I had read his autobiography a few years ago and was up to speed. He did some Q & A's and a (VERY) young couple became engaged. Light entertainment for a evening with a bunch of Crazy Cat Lovers who drove in a snow storm to see another Crazy Cat Person😂🙀

    Nothing Spectacular

    by R. G. on 1/20/20Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Jackson told the story of his journey from "Cat Boy" to fame. He showed some cute videos along the way, including him as the first human to appear on "Cat 2 Cat", being interviewed by Mojo. It was interesting but didn't reveal anything new. Audience members had submitted many dozens of questions on cards before the show, but there was only time for two, one of which was obviously a pre-planned and planted marriage proposal. You may get more out of old episodes of MCFH.

    Meow! Good time!

by Glo on 1/20/20Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Great fun! I was hoping for a little more of Jackson's guitar playing but really enjoyed the cat stories and was pretty much what I expected. Horrible weather madder the audience smaller than expected. Love this venue. Love Jackson and had a great time.

    Not so good

by Kath on 1/20/20Genesee Theatre - Waukegan

Kept waiting for something to happen. Material lacking, and spent way to much time on two young boys/guys from the audience, one of which had proposed marriage to. Ugh. He himself is a terrific guy, and his tv show is fun, but sorry, this actual performance was poor. My husband kept looking at me with eyes that reflected, ‘Are you kidding me?!?’
