Tejano/Norteño group Intocable has been winning fans over since the early '90s with songs that feature romantic lyrics, catchy hooks and polished harmonies. The group regularly plays on tour throughout the Western US, including Texas and Colorado, often performing for several uninterrupted hours and encouraging all ticket purchasers in attendance to find partners and dance throughout each concert.
The band's most recent album, released in 2013, is titled "En Peligro De Extincion," and it joins an impressive back catalog. Intocable has nearly released one album per year since their founding in 1993. Tragically, a vehicle accident claimed the lives of two band members and the road manager in 1999. Following that incident, the surviving members took time to recover from physical and emotional wounds, but were able to come back after that to tour behind their "Contigo" album, which featured a track dedicated to their deceased bandmates. The band has enjoyed popularity via dozens of tracks that have reached the top ten on singles charts. In addition to their Grammy Awards, the group has been nominated at the Billboard Regional Mexican Awards and Latin Grammys ceremony. Although they have achieved great things within the Norteño genre, the band has also had chances to introduce that style of music to mainstream crowds. One notable instance came when Intocable played a halftime show at Dallas Cowboys Stadium in 2011, and were the first band of that type to do so. The musicians have proven how, even in the face of devastating losses, they've been able to remain consistently relevant in the music industry, thanks in large part to their tour dates, some of which have drawn record numbers of concert attendees.
Love every moment of it, we had a lot of Fun and of course Intocable always has the best performance.
We expect that the show starts at 8:00 pm and we arrive at 7:00 pm and for our surprise start at 9:30 pm and we are tired when the show starts and we leave the even at the half of the show.
The concert was at the Payne arena in Hidalgo. The city of Hidalgo was preparing for a Christmas festival so they did not make the parking lot of the arena available to concert goers. It was a disaster trying to park on grassy areas while it was raining. The acoustics in the Payne arena are horrible so the band did not sound well. The voice of the lead singer kept drowning out. Will not go to a concert in this arena again. They made my Intocable experience less than desirable. We even left early!
Sound was off. Rickys voice was lower than the music. Songs cut shorter than originals. Not worth the money.
Voice and sound way off, definitely disappointed this concert was a waste of money . Also they didn’t play the “normal” time, it was a short concert.
It was ok, I was like listening a CD but live. The sound was not the best, parking facilities total disaster. Excellent staff, environment
Perfect place environment and intocable music Ricky Munoz voice is you need to have Great time …
Intocable is truly untouchable. Master performers who do excellent crowd work during the performance. The music was incredible and the visuals were captivating. They even did a 3 song encore at the end truly amazing. You you wonderful gentlemen for introducing me to Norteño and Tejano music.
First time seeing intocable in concert. Best concert I went to this year!
Everything was very BEAUTIFUL 😍 The performance, the atmosphere... I can't wait to see them again 💕
I had the best concert ever my mom's surprise me to go to see intocable I was trying to win tickets me and my mom but it's been 2 years I never went to see intocable and now I finally see my favorite band and I'm going to remember this for the rest of my life the greatest Mexican band in history thank you intocable
Have attended many concerts here and this was the worst performance ever. The sound quality was bad and the concert time was the shortest I’ve experienced. Lines to get a drink were ridiculous and the whole performance was disappointing, what a bummer. Definitely not worth the price.
I loved the concert itself, however, the Plaza Theater seats are way too small. You are shoulder to shoulder with the people sitting next to you, very uncomfortable seating.
This venue is not for concerts You could barely hear the music 👎👎
Definitely not good, the vocalist spent most of time of the concert back stage cause “he got sick” and it looks like he “gets sick” very often at concerts so definitely not recommending spending money on them.
I literally enjoyed it so much. I couldn’t stop singing and it filled my heart with joy to see them. I wish they got more recognition because they deserve the very best. Love them.
While the concert its self was great. The sound was a little off in the beginning, but they were able to fix it and make it more clear. Visuals were clear and of good quality Show started at 9 when doors opened at 7. Was expecting a speech about how they apologized for canceling and rescheduling the show numerous times but thank you for coming out finally to see them and how much it meant. Not much crowd involvement like at other concerts I’ve been to they give a little speech as to what helped write a song or when the song was brought to them and how they felt when they heard it. No reasoning to explain the songs they just played the songs. The staff at the even center were great, not one issue with anyone. They were friendly, pleasant to be around, talkative even though they were busy. Everything was clean and in working order. Everyone seemed to act mature as there were no fights that they had to intervene on. Seats were clean and comfortable. Very happy with the event center. Would see them again.
It was an awesome experience. Intocable performance was amazing, I'm a completely satisfied fan. Morris center is the place to be for great stage and awesome staff.
Everything was good but I wish they sing at least 1/2 more. They have the hits for it
i loves their concert drink were a little pricey for the size but the staff that works at the venue is wonderful
