Australia’s leading lady of musical theatre Marina Prior stars in one of the most enduring musicals of all time, Hello, Dolly! Dolly Levi, the irrepressible matchmaker from New York, has an idea for the perfect match – the tight-fisted, local merchant Horace Vandergelder and herself!
Absolutely great cast. Really enjoyed the show. I would go again.
My three sisters and I attended as part of a family reunion. All of us were delighted with the musical. The singing and dancing were wonderful. My compliments to the entire cast, the crew and the musicians for such an enjoyable performance!
Love Hello Dolly! Ensemble cast was spectacular. Especially loved 'The Waiter's Gallop' and 'Put on Your Sunday Clothes'. Matt Wolfe performed an over the top Cornelius Hackl. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire performance. We were so enthralled with Sally Struthers. She was funny, grand, and unforgettable all at the same time.
This production of Hello, Dolly! is brilliant! Everyone should go see this show! The singing, choreography, and humor was fantastic. Each and every cast member was extremely talented as well. This show is appropriate for all ages.
After anticipating the music and acting to be as great as other musicals I have seen at Drury Lane, I was totally disappointed. I would not recommend this play to friends. It just did not have the pizzazz I expected. We took our granddaughter. I had talked so much about how much I enjoyed the original (years ago) with Carol Channing, that I was rather embarrassed that I had raved about the play so much as it fell so short of what it could have been..
A great performance, very well executed, sung and choreographed. We had visitors from England and all enjoyed the show immensely.
The show is awesome and has a funny side of it which makes it entertaining. I just feel that the dancer need more space to fully dance thier numbers.
I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Had never seen it before, would recommend it to friends.
We attended this event as a gift to our family, but we were the ones who were gifted! What a joy to have such exquisite talent right in our own beautiful hometown theatre!. Literally, the music is still playing inside me, and I can honestly say I savored every minute. Live theatre is so satisfying when well done, like a gourmet meal for the soul, and I left this theatrical feast well fed!
This was just totally AWESOME! My husband had seen it many years ago with Carol Channing and said that he would always like to see it again. It did not disappoint him with Sally Struthers. It was a wonderful evening out.
I was wondering what it would have been like with Carol Channing as Dolly. Sally Struthers was entertaining as was the entire show. The Embassy seating in the nose bleed section was extremely uncomfortable as there was absolutely no leg room.
Sally Struthers was great in the role and made it real! Sharp dancing, good voices, and a very enjoyable night out! Thank you for coming to Fort Wayne.
Well, hello Sally ~ it's so nice to have you right where you belong!!! Sally's performance was amazing. Need to see more of this talented actress!
Once again, I'm impressed with a Drury Lane production. Loved music, sets, and costumes...looking forward to seeing it a second time, this time with my kids!
Hello Dolly was entertaining but didn't reach the top of the stairs in quality. There were a few moments of specialness - mainly some comedic scenes by Sally Struthers. The majority of the time the scenes were telling in repetition and ordinary. Went away relaxed - not singing nor particularly impressed. A nice evening though nothing outstanding.
Sally Struthers brought her own version off Dolly Levi to the Embassy Theater in Fort Wayne last Sunday night and knocked em dead with her dead pan version of Dolly Levi. The supporting cast was top notch in song and dance. It is hard to believe that it was 50 years ago when this show hit Broadway. This "bus and truck" tour brought back great memories of the shows that played one nighters around the the country. The sets were build to tour but were effective and the lighting brought the show alive. If you get a chance this to see this, don't miss it, its a rare old chestnut getting a new leading land.
Great performance -- great dance exceeded only by the excellent vocals! Dinner (for dinner theatre faire) was good. Dinner service was only fair.
Thoroughly enjoyed Hello Dolly. Fantastic actors, beautiful costumes.
A very entertaining play. A good feeling show that will have you smiling when you leave.
Hello Dolly was amazing! It was very funny and I highly recommend seeing it. Hello Dolly was the first musical I went to, and I'm very glad I went. It was unforgettable!
