Eddie was being Eddie. This show is not for thin skinned people or the sensitive. Eddie invites controversy and provokes though. It was nice to see a comedian that's been doing this for a long time.
We were very disappointed with this show. It seemed as if he did not put any effort into the show. It was not funny at all.
Eddie has definitely become fully seasoned in his acts. But he’s always been a talented comedian in my opinion. Even though you kinda know what to expect from Eddie he’s very clever in the way he delivers his set. He’s not for the sensitive by any means. He uses very strong language and can seemly be insensitive to other cultures, race and beliefs, but who comes to a comedy show to be serious. THERE JUST JOKES!!!! Great job Eddie.
Terrible jokes. Not funny and extremely boring. Let the event early.
He use to be hilarious but not this past weekend. We were so disappointed
This was a celebration of me and my husband's birthdays. We laugh so hard and had a great time. Our seats were excellent, we actually could have touch the stage. We definitely would return to see him again.
That was my first time seeing Eddie and I enjoyed his show. I live in Houston and i definitely plan to see him again in the near future.
Eddie was hilarious and has us laughing the whole entire time. He’s an amazing comedian, love his intellectual values and/or theories. I highly recommend this show. You want regret it! Ase
I thought this was the worst comedy show I’ve ever attended. I’ll be honest, I’ve seen Eddie on TV and thought he was funny. Well my other half wanted to see him while we were in Vegas and I thought why not. Well this show was awful, he wasn’t funny and he was very degrading to women and those with disabilities. Jokes are funny because there are some truth however, he was just out right cruel, and disgusting. I am very disappointed Don’t waist your money. Oops and the venue could use a little upgrade
Love the atmosphere but thought comedian was all over the place with set.
Eddie Griffin is a great comedian who infuses “real talk” in his adult brand of comedy. An unwanted heckler on the audience became too much of a distraction. Overall we had a real good time.
Not what I expected, and he wasn’t offensive to me. The video playing the first 10-15 of him doing comedy instead of him actually onstage, was a turn off for a one hour show should have read the reviews
Lots of laughs! Loved the show! Eddie Griffin is a great comedian!
The show was as expected. Eddie Griffin in his "Dick Gregory" style showed us a way of looking at things that we probably had never considered. Funny...funny...funny. A great evening in a cozy venue with an all adult audience. It was wonderful!
I’ve had better.. pretty much sums up 90% of it. The other 10% was ok stand up. I had higher expectations. Which is why I gave it 3 stars. End of the day..He’s a man in Las Vegas. I shouldn’t have held expectations at all, so threw an extra one on there for what he had to work with (or lack of) and because it was Halloween so maybe he was just.. let’s just say I don’t blame him for not wanting it filmed.
Started with race based comedy that only landed a few laughs, was easily distracted by a heckler and his improve was painful. The ship has sailed on his stand-up
The opening act halk was cool had a couple of laughs, and eddie was a little late, but once he hit the stage it was none stop, will there was lady who kept stopping him wanting to see his (equipment) he talked about it so he wanted to see, and the genius of eddie he never stumbled just played off of her, can't wait till march madness when i go back to vegas im definitely going to see eddie again...
We really enjoyed watching Eddie do what he does best! He has not missed a beat!! Great show Eddie, keep pushing brother!!
Eddie is like no other and he really did a show. I enjoyed all of his stories and monologues. I am glad I saw the show. The Sahara is a beautiful place and the theater was just right. I was asked if I wanted to move closer, I declined. I did not want to be too close. The atmosphere was great and there was one interruption, of course Eddie handled that in his own way. I would seriously consider seeing the show again.
