    Daughtry

by The Duck on 1/23/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

I've seen this group several times and they usually put on a fantastic show. Not sure what happened this night. Chris used to be more energetic and engage with the audience more. Mostly new guys in the group. It was disappointing not to see the original members anymore. A guest told me she purchased the Meet and Greet and was rushed through, even though there were not many fans participating. Scott Stapp really rocked the house !!!!

    Don’t sit near the speakers.

by NO on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Had a great time seeing Scott Stapp, and Daughtry. I like the venue, but next time, I’ll definitely check my seats better. We were sitting in the front row, but right in front of the speakers, which I did not realize. Very jarring, and couldn’t hear a lot of the words because we were so close. Next time I’ll definitely know better.

    Poor sound quality

by Jobu on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Sound quality was very poor. Vocals were frequently drowned out by incorrect sound settings for much of the concert. Sound engineers at this venue need to be retrained or released altogether. Worst I have ever experienced at any concert over the last 50+ years. Especially for a new venue. Technical difficulties with equipment during both acts. Daughtry actually walked off stage more than once. Thunder Valley should be embarrassed.

    Daughtry is ok

by TA on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Daughtry's show was ok but not as good as I hoped. Scott Stapp was much better. I'm embarrassed that I fell asleep during the show.

    Fun, but disappointed

by John on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Scott Stapp was awesome and performed a lot of Creed's top hits. Daughtry however was a big disappointment. They have so many hits to choose from and decided to just do two of their top hits. Didn't even end the show with a hit song. Most of the crowd wasn't even familiar with the last song they performed. Likely won't attend another Daughtry concert.

    Great voice!!

by Napa Baseball on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Chris Daughtrey was amazing!!! In his prime with such a distinctive voice and pure rock sound! Very cool that he weaved in some Led Zepplin and Journey into his set ... wish he played more of his older material however. He would get 5 stars those for his performance! Scott Stapp was OK but his voice has lost a step or two and I also wish he had played more Creed material. Thunder Valley as a venue was great however with a top tier sound system that blew me away!! :)

    Daughtry Terrible

by Bob on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

He came out sing one song then the lights went out and he left the stage. A few minutes later he came out and sing another song and the lights went out and he left again. Then his drummer came out and played a solo, followed by his guitarist playing a solo. Daughtry came out and began singing but it wasn’t that great and we left a quarter way thru. Major Disappointment!!

    A Sophmoric experience

by MG on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Weirdest concert I've ever been to. Scott Stapp was excellent, and got the crowd fired up. After intermission, Daughtry came out and started great, but ONLY PLAYED 3 SONGS. He and the band then disappeared offstage for over 5 minutes. Daughtry had been having issues with his monitors, and I thought that may be the reason, but it didn't seem to be. They slowly came back out, and played a couple of songs, and then the band disappeared again. Daughtry played 2 acoustic songs, and then disappeared AGSIN. This disappearing from the stage nonsense happened 2 more times, every time JUST KILLING THE ENERGY! Stapp was on stage for an hour, and rocked nonstop. Daughtry (the headliner!) was only on stage for an hour and 20 minutes, playing fewer songs than Stapp! and then just disappeared for a last time and the house lights came up. We felt as if we were watching a high school band play at the prom! Utterly disappointing!

    Still Confused

by AV on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

I am still a bit confused about this particular gig. It opened with Scott Stapp who gave a great performance and the upcoming Creed Reunion Tour promises to be a good one. Daughtry on the other hand was a bit different. It is undeniable that he has and amazing voice with a remarkable range. The band was tight enough to support him. What left many, not just me a bit confused was stage management and flow of the show. A song or two would be played and then the entire band would leave the stage and the lights went down. some time later they would reappear for another song or two and then repeat the process. This was confusing to just about everyone around me as well as me. and I am no newbie... I have seen thousands of concerts since 1967...Confusion aside the show was enjoyable and his voice is truly amazing for which I particularly enjoyed his two song acoustic set... Would I go again ? I'll be at Creed Reunion...Daughtry well I'll wait and see.

    AMAZING!

by Nicole T on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

The Venue was amazing. Daughtry sounded incredible even though he was having issues with his ear pieces. Love his new songs and the older songs rocked the room! Scott Stapp was good & loved his music too. We sat in section 301 & it still seemed pretty close. The sound system is top notch. Loved that they have a bar on each floor as well as bar staff walking throughout so you don't have to get out of your seat. Great concert. This is my 11th time seeing Daughtry & he never disappoints.

    Amazing show, great venue!

by Jen S. on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

The venue at Thunder Valley Casino is AMAZING! Fantastic seating, easy to park, easy to access inside the venue. The concessions were limited but lower priced than other venues. The projection screens are top notch, making the entire experience fantastic. Daughtry was wonderful as always and Scott Stapp was a real treat to watch. Both rocked the house and delivered a top notch performance. One downside to exiting the venue, is having to walk through the smokey casino with the entire crowd of people. All in all, great experience and will consider other shows here in the future.

    Daughtry at Thunder Valley Casino

by Blueline53 on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Music was fantastic although the amount of time between songs was bizarre. He left the stage multiple time without any explanation, just weird.

    Somewhat strange

by Sergei on 1/22/24The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino Resort - Lincoln

Mixed feelings. Their online music is great. But at the concert it is not as vivid. Partly because of strange unexplainable breaks that kill the whole drive
