COASTS IN CONCERT:
Up-and-coming British indie outfit Coasts has steadily risen the ranks with their upbeat indie pop sound and to-the-rafters live performances on tour. The band's soaring, guitar-driven songs feature '80s-inspired synths and massive sing-along choruses, and their arena-sized sound makes them a perfect act to see in concert. Whether they're lifting fans up with "Oceans" or bringing them down for a soft landing with "Lions", Coasts always delivers must-see performances full of powerful tunes.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Coasts was formed in 2011 by a group of university students who met while studying in Bath, England. After graduation they relocated to Bristol and began recording music and posting it online. In late 2012 they debuted the track "Oceans", a driving retro rock song that racked up millions of plays on Soundcloud and swelled their ever-growing fanbase. Following an extensive UK tour and the release of the Oceans EP, Coasts returned to the studio to record a new batch of songs. The result was 2014's A Rush Of Blood EP, a critically acclaimed collection that featured catchy tracks like "Wash Away" and the infectiously danceable "Let Go". With high-profile performances at Lollapalooza and Coachella slated for 2015, Coasts have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting the chance to catch them in action.
