Chita Rivera Tickets

The sensational CHITA RIVERA in her new show ‘My Broadway' for one night only at The York Theatre, Seymour Centre Sydney on Wednesday 22 June at 8pm. There is NO one in the music theatre industry with a career like Ms Rivera's spanning over five decades, two Tony Awards, Kennedy Centre Honour, The Medal of Freedom from President Obama, and creating such roles as VELMA in ‘Chicago', ANITA in ‘West Side Story', and Aurora in ‘Kiss Of The Spiderwoman'. She has inspired so many, Liza Minnelli said that seeing Chita play Rose in ‘Bye, Bye, Birdie' was the moment she decided she wanted to move to New York and try a career on the stage. Little did Liza know she would be the only artist Chita would have twice as a co-star on Broadway in ‘Chicago' and ‘The Rink'.  I think Liza Minnelli said it best "This is the REAL THING, this is what it's really about. There is nobody in the world like CHITA RIVERA".
