Bonnie Prince Billy & the Cairo Gang Tickets

Really enjoyed the show even though I'm not familiar with the new album. The new songs were great and the few old tunes they played were songs that I wanted to hear so over all great stuff. The National has improved the experience with the increase of seating available. I think it keeps the loud mouths quieter and give the shows a classier feel. In the past I've had a couple bad experiences at the venue because of the background noise from the overly drunk crowds. But so far The Nat'l is wrapping up the year with a bang.

Great opener - babblers. Allison Olson I believe, epic voice. Bonnie was great to watch and to hear, wonderful mix of slow and fast songs. Great covers like Merel Haggard's 'Because of your eyes'.

I read somewhere once that after hearing Bonnie Prince Billie's latest album, the reviewer said that he should really call himself Bonnie King Billie since he is the king of what he does. After seeing the man myself for the first time, I wholeheartedly agree. The show was exciting, fun, moving, heartwarming, all at the same time. If I ever get the chance - I will see Bonnie Prince Billie again.
