Blue Highway Tickets

After getting tickets , I could not understand why Tony Joe White was on a Bluegrass tour. As it turned out Tony opened first. He came out alone at 72 and apparently visually impaired and blew the place away. Most people were there for the Bluegrass and it was good. But I was there for Tony Joe White . Most people don't realize all the songs he wrote. And had his friend and drummer come out after a few songs. Just one guitar player with a harmonica and a drummer and his sound was so full, chords so rich and always a duel playing style like that of Roy Buchannan. I think many who came to see the bluegrass were surprised and impressed. Great show.
