They nailed Pink Floyd. We had a fun evening. Loved the venue. .
Beautiful evening and beautiful venue…the reserved seating is the way to go! Hoping they do a 50th anniversary tour in 2028 for The Wall ☺️☺️☺️
The acoustics, music, sound, lights, all was great, how was fantastic. Mellow, people were nice in the crowd as well!
Great show. Lots of lights and lasers Great music and a very talented band. An experience everyone should take in. You will love it
I had such a great time! I invited my father to this concert and we both were so impressed!!! High-quality music and performance. I recommended it to all my friends!
Front row was absolutely spectacular. One of the best concerts i’ve ever seen
Fantastic light show and the sound was amazing, Emily Lynn and the 2 other background singers were great and the drummer was incredible, I will see them again the next time around.
Great musicianship, nice selection of songs, really cool lighting, instead of a pig they had a kangaroo (hilarious) overall a very good performance.
Aussie Floyd Sounds better than the real band does live!
I'm a Pink Floyd fan and I love their music, I thought I'd give these guys a shot to see if it would be worth my time. Turns out this was a really good show! They sound enough like the real Floyd that there were times I felt like I was actually at a show of theirs. Come to find out, these guys are kind of endorsed by Pink Floyd and was even asked to play at David Gilmore's 50th birthday, by David Gilmore himself! Now if that doesn't say something about these guys, I don't know what would! Go see them they are awesome!!!
I have seen Pink Floyd multiple times, and Roger Waters 3 times. I won’t be seeing Roger Waters any longer in concert, since all he does is spew his political garbage. . I go to listen to the music not listen to his warped views. I saw Britt Floyd a few times, but this is the first time I’ve seen Australian Pink Floyd. They are absolutely fantastic. I now will go see them each time they are in town, because they’re so awesome in their sound and in the show itself. Best ever!!
I have seen floyd david roger aussie floyd brit floyd wish you were here although all plat good aussie would be at the bottom of list
I live in NYC but saw the band in Georgia at Chastain Park at the end of summer 2019, I took my wife's uncle with me. Fantastic show and enjoyable to l say the least. A friend at work raved about your band and I gave it a try and loved it. My wife's uncle totally dug it. Hoping to see you out on the road again.
Australian Pink Floyd doesn't only revive the legendary sound of Pink Floyd, they've managed to capture and recreate the entire Pink Floyd Concert experience. Since the show I've been telling people that Time-Machines are REAL; my wife and I spent 2 hours in one with this amazing band. Thank you APF for taking us back 30 years to relive such a treasured memory. I never thought we'd have that opportunity again, and we are grateful for your talents and dedication. The Mystic Lake venue was excellent as well, very convenient and comfortable with options for food/drinks/slots/cards after the show. Highly recommend.
This was my third time seeing them, and won't be the last. Great light show, great song selection (they try to play something from every album), and each time they came by they changed it up a bit. I do think the first part of Shine on You Crazy Diamond is plenty. No need to play all the parts. Maybe throw in some Division Bell instead? They give you a pretty long show, too. Worth the money. Chastain Amphitheatre is an excellent venue. Thanks for coming to ATL every year!
I have seen TAPFS many times and they never disappoint. Every single member of the band is incredibly talented and together they replicate Pink Floyd with amazing precision and accuracy. The vocal performances are incredible and the 3 beautiful ladies who provide angelic backing vocals give one of the best performances of The Great Gig In The Sky I have seen. Their meet and greet is definitely the most generous I have ever experienced. They played a song that was not on their setlist and they spent an extended period of time answering questions and interacting with the fans. This band is incredible and I make sure to see them every time they tour the U.S. and you should too.
Growing up in the 70s Pink Floyd was one of the first band that gravitated me. I loved the psychedelic and hypnotic sound. This is the third time I've seen the band since 2010. During the other two shows the balance of popular and obscure songs seem much better. There also as I remember was more vocal work rather than choosing tracks that were instrumental. In a two hour show, I didn't see the need to play all NINE parts of Shine On Your Crazy Diamond. Further the images seemed heavily weighted to the memory of Sid Barrett which is fine but then wash ALL the songs with an image. Their were songs with NO imagery at all. Also I find it disrespectful for those who don't live in OUR country to voice a political opinion at all. Shut up and sing the songs. I don't need or want to be preached to or educated by musicians. Another self aggrandizing move that people who have 15 minutes of fame feel while they take advantage of a captive audience.
This is probably the fourth or fifth time I've seen the Australian Pink Floyd. Their faithful reproduction of the music is always impressive. They stuck to the standard favorites, plus One Of These Days. I really like some of their past shows, with cuts from Animals and The Division Bell thrown in. They do a great Keep Talking. This time they were a bit sparse on the theatrics. In past shows they have brought the huge round projection screens showing Pink Floyd's videos, and an inflatable kangaroo. These things were missing in at Humphrey's in August, but that didn't detract from the music, which remains a must-hear for any PF fan. I'll continue to see them anytime the come to San Diego.
I will not say it was a bad show, but it left a lot to be desired. First, Led Zeppelin 2 was poorly mixed and no one could hear the lead guitar. Who goes to any Zeppelin tribute show so as not to hear the lead guitar? The setlist was great, but the presentation left was lacking. The Aussies were good, but seemed a little bit lost . It was an outdoor venue and a smaller stage so they didn't get to employ all their toys. Maybe that's the reason I felt their part of the show was sub par. Once again there was nothing lacking in the set list. One other thing ... each of these bands has a breadth of material that could warrant them having their own show. So each has to limit there play list choices to fit a lot smaller time slot. As I have seen both bands before (together even), I'd still recommend the show but at an indoor venue with a larger stage.
