    The Real Deal

by Xtina on 4/8/24The Met Presented by Highmark - Philadelphia

I loved Ali Wong before I saw her live. She has always been so authentic and her standup surrounds around her own experiences. She centers herself as the focus of her jokes and not on the expense of others. She gets real about her experiences and not afraid to share with the world! She takes charge of her whole narrative through comedic story telling. I will absolutely see her again if she tours Philly in the future!!

Ali is always a pleasure and joy to watch. The show started later than expected but the opener was Sheng Wang so that was a super cool start.

I didn’t search anything beforehand, I didn’t recall if I watched her Netflix specials. But this was pure laughter all around. Everyone was laughing non-stop. Her opening act (Sheng Wang) was even hilarious! I now want to see him live! She was phenomenal! X-Rated!

by K8Read on 4/8/24The Met Presented by Highmark - Philadelphia

Fantastic show, I knew Ali’s humor was dirty but didn’t know just. how. dirty! Nonstop laughs, love her & the way she tells a story. Opener Sheng Wang started a little cool but heated up towards the end, def worth catching.

    A Comedian who tells stories

by Fan on 4/7/24Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center - Red Bank

I hope it’s not happening to Ali also. If you are a comedian who tells stories, vs writing jokes, your stories have to be funny and relatable. When your day to day changes and you are a wealthy celebrity, the stories aren’t as funny or relatable.

    An Idol and Icon

by The Bored Blonde on 4/5/24

I'm so beyond happy that Ali was my first comedy show that I went to see. I bought her book, "Dear Girls"because I was sad and needed a laugh, followed her on instagram and was so surprised she was performing local to me. Her set in Red Bank beats any of her specials that I saw. Every joke was a banger and her opening act Sheng Weng was great too.

Had a hard and stressful week and coming to this show was just the pickup I needed. Both comedians, had me in tears laughing throughout the show.

The show was great. The right amount of laughs and sneak peek into her life. Very entertaining and was probably more on the 18plus side for those who want to bring kids.

Ali was so funny, as always! She didn't disappoint with this new show about her experience with divorce and rebuilding her life after such a difficult experience. Sheng Wang was also very hilarious and the pair were very complimentary. Can't wait til they're back in Chicago!
