ABBA The Concert on Tour
Considered "the Best ABBA since ABBA," ABBA The Concert by THE VISITORS hit the road for A TRIBUTE TO ABBA tour, playing 29 shows across the United States. Dubbed "The Ultimate Tribute Celebration" to one of the greatest pop performance groups, you'll hear all the ABBA classics including "Mamma Mia," "Dancing Queen," "S.O.S." and more. Though the touring show doesn't have a formal affiliation with the original ABBA group or Mamma Mia! film, audience members fawn over ABBA The Concert for displaying their range, energy and fashionable costume changes, all while sounding just like the real thing. With a robust and rhythmic percussion group, stellar and diverse vocals, the 12-piece band promises to deliver a great performance. The group has toured in more than 25 countries for nearly 30 years including Europe, Asia and the United States. Tickets are selling fast to see ABBA The Concert, so get yours today.
ABBA The Concert Live
In 1996, Martin Håkansson and Christian Fast created the ABBA tribute band called Waterloo in Stockholm, Sweden. Audiences and local journalists immediately came to an agreement: "This is the closest to ABBA you will ever get." Over the course of the next 10 years, Waterloo continued to add full-time members like Tom Bieme, Marcus Olsson, Jonas Lidholm, Charlotte Berg, Matilda Lindell, and more. By 2013 they agreed to go by a new name -- THE VISITORS -- and they hit the road to tour just a few months later. The group has made waves across audiences, doing conference performances for Fortune 500 companies, playing a part in a multi-group performance called The Tribute Show -- which pays homage to pop and rock greats like Elvis Presley, Queen and The Beatles -- and even performing for The Queen of Sweden. Fast forward to today and ABBA The Concert, in association with 21st Century Artist Inc., is a national success, recreating the magic of Mamma Mia! on a nightly basis across the United States.
I bought tickets for my mom for her birthday and she really enjoyed the show, as did I! We had so much fun and I'm so glad I was able to go! The performers did a great job!
They were amazing. Just like listening to the real ABBA. They got the audience to their feet and everyone was singing along with them. It was just terrific!
excellent tribute band that is close to the real thing. I would go again. Some people were dancing in the aisle, and everyone was on their feet often. Great fun and well worth the price.
This show was AMAZING! With the exception of some "cranky"folks who were giving people a hard time about standing. It's a concert, folks, not a movie. If people want to stand and dance, they have the same right to do that, just like the person who chooses to sit, they have that right too. With that being said, I really enjoyed the concert! They looked like ABBA, sounded like ABBA and even their dancing, etc, was ABBA! Thank you for a great concert and I can't wait until you come back!
The concert was great. I wish to be longer. The best group from Sweden. This is great to see the Tribute to ABBA.
Overall, very good performance and venue crowd was pleasant efficient getting in and out
The Group was from Sweden called "Arrived from Sweden"and were coached by members or the original ABBA band. IF you closed your eyes they sounded EXACTLY like the ABBA of old. The 4 main Singers wore their hair like the ABBA we all knew. The costumes were authentic reproductions the choreography was performed flawlessly. They performed many of the ABBA greats and the finale was "Thank you for the Music"that the entire audience at the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford CT on their feet and singing along. It was a FANTASTIC Concert and worth every penny as the cost of the Tickets. I would go again to see them perform if they came around this area again
My 9 yr old daughter is obsessed with ABBA and this was the perfect show to take her too. Can’t wait to take her to another show.
Great night of music. Sounded just like the real thing.
ABBA show was amazing! Vocals and music were spot on. The historical detail and tribute given to the original band was an added plus! Would definitely see again!
Go!! They sounded amazing. It's a good time! You won't be disappointed!
Saw them at the Blue Ocean Music Hall which was a great small venue. This show was amazing! Everyone sounded authentic and the outfits were perfect. So much fun energy! I would absolutely see them again!
You know, the show was pretty good overall for the quality of it but again, this is another example of stretching out every minute to try to get through the show so that they can hurry up and end it I just don’t understand these bands. We are paying a lot of money for tickets these days. The least you can do is give us a full two hours of performance, not two hours, including all the talking and taking a 20 min break. I know that the Orpheum let you play until 11 o’clock minimum no problem so why don’t you give us a good 2- 2 1/2 hour show ? There are certainly plenty of songs to do. It doesn’t look like anyone’s putting in such an effort that they’re tiring, so can’t you crank out a few more tunes, especially if you’re going to take a 20 minute break after 30 minutes of play ???
Amazing concert! Vocals and instrumentals were great!! So much energy in the hall.
Singing was fabulous though the movements were not congruent with the lyrics....the fillers were much too loud and I had to out my hands over my ears....the singers were great.
Great tribute band would so see again. Danced all night. Awesome.
It would have been better if you could hear the vocalists. Other than that I would see them again
I found the show to be fantastic. The only minor issue at the beginning of the show was that the music was much louder that the vocals. But they managed that and the whole show was a 10 out of 10.
Many folks got dressed up in their disco outfits. I swear Agnetha and Frida made eye contact with each person in the audience. Music and singing were great.
Overall the show was good. I think their selection of songs should be intermingled better. It was very obvious when a more well known song was performed, the audience became more engaged. Numerous less know songs in a row makes for some disappointment
